I use neem on my roses for powdery mildew and the important thing is doing it on a regular basis whether you see a problem or not. Where i live you can see it on the trees! I use it the same way inside. As a preventative. If you wait until you see a problem, it will be a lot more work to rid yourself of it. Especially with all these crazy, endless rains....
I tried copper spray too , but it wasn't as effective for rust and mildew...

so that is what i see on my roses is white powder mildew,i always wondered what that is,it never bothered me till now i know what it is,i sure do hope i dont get that on my plants ,oh well off to neem my roses.i built this rose garden last yr when i bought me a ruskie bride for 3000,00 dollars that never showed up and i waited 3 days at sfo,that is why i always say,you learn from your mistakes,or you live and learn,or with old age and years comes knowladge after it may be to late,and i alway say dont buy crap online,got me good dam boris was natashia i bet

to tie,top,pinch,hook,or not to is no more of a question i ask my self,every pic tells a story.the one with 9 point fan tip is a huge one and will be huge as i predicted by way of topping,pinching and hooking down at such a early age.i think they are doing just fine for starting in feb and lasting a half way frost,ah,what the heck,the better to halfway dead and survive then to death were these cuz of a freeze
