Yo P! Thanks for stoppin in! Those clone were in the tray for 13 days. I'm not expert, trust me! Give me one of those bubble cloners and I'll execute 2/3's of the cuts I take in it every time! Passive hydro at work, that's it!

Just did a bit of feeding and watering. I had three that were heavy indicas that have barely vegged after topping for clones. I culled them, they won't work for what I want if they can't grow back faster than that. I pulled the clones for them as well, and after 6 days all they had were nubs. Definitely not what I'm looking for, plus I much prefer a sativa stone rather than an indica couchlock. So we are down to 8, plus 8 new seedlings. The seedlings are really showing promise. For the most part they are not overly indica or sativa, so maybe I've got some decent hybrids to play with and try out. Only one of the 8 currently in flower looks like it doesn't have tons of side branching on the clone, and other than the expected main colas from the topping it doesn't have a lot of side branching either. I hope it's a girl fer sure! If not, I MAY put it outside and collect some pollen for when I do find a female that has the same properties. Then I won't have to worry about finding another gem, I'll have seeds from the phenos I like. Hopefully those traits I'm trying to select for will be dominant...

When I culled the slow growers, I pulled 'em out of the pearlite to see what the roots were looking like...

Here's my vegging clones, waiting for their mate in flower to show their private parts. You can see #10 on the right, that one's almost exactly like the one who's roots are in the previous pic.

I love a semi-full flower cab. Lets me know the perpetual is well under way! The one on the left in the front is the one I said was a nice little plant on the previous page. Sure has grown up! The stretch is throwing alternating nodes. Maybe by next week we will know the first 4's privates.

Man oh man! Those roots look great Slow! I grow in hempys too and have had great success. I'm going to give cloning a go real soon, and am going to try that ice tray method. That looks great!

Thanks dub! Do you use the small cups or do you go big? I'm getting rid of all those tall, narrow green cups and going to the shorter wider ones. The res will be bigger that way. These ?girls are already draining the cups dry in 2 days. Gonna be mad watering during the flower, that's for sure! The ice tray is the only way I've had consistant success cloning, probably because I'm such a nOOb at this! Do you have a journal up I can look at?

Monday update:

Well, they pulled down their pants and showed me their thingies...

Current tally: 3 girls, 4 boys, and 1 really shy one that won't show yet. Here's one:

The next set of seedlings. At 4 nodes and getting big.

Group left to be moms. As soon as they get a little bigger it's gonna be time to top these bitches and get 'em bushy. I kept one of the slow growing Indicas, there on the end. I'm gonna flower her just for the hell of it when she gets bigger. She is just tooooooooo sloooooooowwwwww.
