My growing buddy has passed.

My old dog and growing partner has passed away. I found him dead this morning, he had been dealing with several illnesses and had recently been to the vet. The old boy used to stomp around the forests with me, hangout near my growing cabinets with me while I worked, laid down with me when I was working under the car, etc etc.

I sensed something wasn't right last night. He was touching no food, and was breathing heavily. I planned on taking him to the vet today. I'm happy I was able to pet him and love on him one more time.

R.I.P Jack. I'll miss you buddy.

Thank you everyone. My buddy always loved smelling my plants, even from a distance. He was often around me when I smoked. I'll try to find a good picture of him to put online sometime soon.

I think I'll be working on creating a strain in his honor. He was a loyal friend, and I miss him more than most people would think a human should miss an animal.

Being a dog lover, I feel your pain man...I have a girl at my feet, as I type...she'll be 17 in a few days.

Sorry for your tremendous loss bro. That's one thing that ain't no lie, Dogs are man's best friend. You never forget them,....I think about my past four legged children all the time before alot of people!....lol.....The first month is the saddest. Every where you look, you try to see them there, it sucks because we miss them so much.

i have two old boys that are gonna be 15 this year. last year they couldnt make the jump into the pickup like they used to, this year i dont think i can take em with me into the woods.
now i am sitting here cryin like a baby about your loss.
sometimes out in the forest, when i have been working a while i say "lets fire one up chubby!" and then i remember that chubby has been dead for 10 years.

sounds like jack was lucky to have you, and vice versa.
somewhere out there is a sad story of a dog, having a really bad life, and waiting for you to come get her off the green mile.
