My friend died last night RIP

I went to see my friend yesturday, I havnt been chillen with him a lot latly because i moved about 100 miles away I wasnt aware of how serious his problem really is. he deffinatlyneeds to go to rehab but wont he took 15 K pins the night after he found his friend dead and he was drinking, hes my best friend and i really want to help him i think i need to call his dad or something i know he isnt going to listen to his dad but i need to do something i dont want to lose another friend

A friend of mine was tits-deep in shit. Heroin addiction. It took a lot of discussion between our group of friends that know him, and in the end, we decided to call his parents to let them know what the fuck was going on with him (since they were oblivious to his extreme addiction). The result ? He's doing way better now, in rehab, and not dead like a friend of his that overdosed.

You should consider your options thoroughly. Sometimes family can do the most to help, sometimes not. There are a lot of parents that do stupid shit like call the police as soon as they know their son is on drugs (yes, some people are stupid enough to do that, really.), which is prolly the worst thing to do.
We spent A LOT of time explaining to his parents how to react, what should be done, and what shouldn't be done.

mixing prescription drugs is so, so dangerous. sorry for your loss budz ... hopefully your other friend will straighten out.
