My friend died last night RIP

Last night two of my friends were doing OC 80s and zanax, there both good kids just needed to move in a positive direction they went to sleep at ryans girlfriends house and when ryan woke up this morning he found steve on the coutch dead, he called 911 but he was already gone there was nothing they could do.
He was only 20, and ryan told me that he actually did more OCs and xanax then steve i hope this will be his wakeup call because i dont want to lose another friend, i also want to say we will miss you as well jack herer

I would be around the buddy who found him and make sure he is emotionally ok. Pills can mess with a person's head especially young ones. Add a friends death to the mix and who knows.

Intervention as it were, not to change what he does BUT just to make sure he is o.k.

so true my friend who found one of our friends dead of the same thing still needs support. He still smells him from time to time. My buddy and his wife came home with a new baby to find a house sitting friend dead in the basement from pills and coke+ hooker action. At least you know they don't go painfully like that just a big warm and fuzzy hug.

sorry about your friend, lost one a good one last year myself. it will take a long time for the hurt to fade.
never mix benzos and opiates. even longtime users are careful. well the smart ones are.

I cant count on two hands anymore how many friends I have lost to stupid shit like Heroin,Crack,PCP ect over the last 25 years.Sorry for your loss,I feel your pain brother.

Gawd, I feel sick. 20 years old. I am just over that age, and I can see so much in my future. I can't fathom dying at this age. So much loss.

I hope you get through this and I recommend your friend seeks professional help. Finding an animal dead can be more than mortifying, let alone a human friend. Good luck to you both.

Not to mention his parents. Burying a child is the hardest thing a human can ever go through.

I speak from personal experience having buried both of my children. One was an accident and the other was a tragedy.

My old next door neighbor died the same way. OCs + Benzos. Went to sleep with his girlfriend. When she woke up the next morning he wasn't breathing.

If you don't know what you're doing, mixing opiates w/ benzos is literally like knocking on the grim reaper's door. If you're not careful, you never know when he might answer.
