My first time cloning and some look really droopy HELP!

I took 100 clones w/ gloves on, 5 per each razor blade, diped in CLONEX and planted in rapid rooter. 20 look really sorry and droopy.. what should I do??

It's normal for clones to wilt a little after they're cut. If you have them in a humidity dome, that's pretty much all you can do for them.

Mine have always done that. Keep them in a humidity dome and they'll come around in a few days.

Domes were my #1 cause of death. I found keeping cuttings short and well trimmed far more effective.



Note there is no area of growing more Voodoo oriented than cloning. What works for some is death to others. Keep trying stuff till something works. Whatever that was is the right way to go.

I mist mine once, about 8-12 hours after cutting and don't use a dome at all, but I use a bubble cloner.

lol, awefully ambitious for your first time out and, for a first timer,
80% success is pretty good.

and FreezerBoy is so right in that what works for one person
is death to another, personally, i use a bubble cloner i built
myself. (i get about a 98% success rate now)

lol i just use my chop scissors and chuck em straight into a cup of coco or a RW cube, 99% success

I go bubble cloner with no dome too. I have not yet mastered it!

Going for 100 clones on your first try is amibitious, no doubt...I use, and suggest, a bubble cloner...As others have stated I ALWAYS get 100% success, ALWAYS

You can buy one for big $$$, or go the DIY route (which I did) and make one yourself...Nothing more satisfying than building your own grow equipment and watching it work just the way it should

I never do more than 10 clones at a time but I see no reason why 3-4-5 of these couldn't be built...Should be able to handle 75 or so clones with ease

I use nothing but plain tap water, pH adjusted to 6.0...No gels, powders or any of that junk
