Thanks for that tip ! I found that out the hard way actually. The plant was literally getting choked to death by the way I originally had tied the rope around the stem. The stem kept getting fatter and bigger as it was growing and the rope was so tight that it was choking the plant, causing an indent in the stem. I removed the rope of course as soon as I noticed that, and the plant luckily recovered after that.

Thanks a lot ! I know that I probably got a little lucky, since it was my first grow, but I did put a lot of time and care into it.
Regarding a smoke report, I don't know if I can give a good one. Before I started growing, I just bought weed and it was never ever labelled, so I don't even know what different strains taste like or what to compare it to. I do believe that the bagseed was indica dominant like you mentioned, because it was short and bushy, and it was growing side by side with a Northern Lights # 5 (male plant), and they pretty much looked very similiar. It also had some purple stems, and I read that is common with certain indicas.
I do know that the weed from this bagseed tasted much better after it had cured for a few months. Especially the smell got much better, almost like the weed I was used to buying. I was worried about the smell when I first harvested, because it was kind of grassy or hay smelling, but that improved greatly after curing for a while. It just kept getting better and better, the longer it cured.
As far as the high, I didn't find it harsh or anything, probably because I flushed for 10 days before I harvested and didn't feed it anything for that period. Compared to other weed that I've been used to buying, which includes anything from midgrade stuff to higher grade stuff ocassionally, I'd rate it pretty close to the highgrade stuff probably, definitely way better than the mids that I would pick up. It certainly got me pretty ripped. I think it was more couchlock than heady though, and because of that, I'm interested in growing a sativa soon. I don't think that I've smoked too many sativas before, and I'm really interested in checking that out.

Ok, this post definitely marks the end of my first grow, because I smoked the last little piece of my last bud from this first grow tonight ! I made a point of enjoying it as much as I could, because I knew that it would be the last smoke that I would be tasting for quite a while. I harvested this first grow back in may, and the plant has been doing me good ever since then and all the way up until today ! I smoke everyday, more than once. I'll be completely dry now until my second grow is completed, but I simply refuse to buy any more weed out of principle.

Hey, thanks a lot. It was part luck also, since I was pretty lucky that the bagseed turned out to be a nice growing plant and I ended up with some real good smoke in the end.
