Nice pics toofat! My babies are finally starting to veg out good, I will post a pic soon. I ended up repotting some of them into smaller containers and letting them get good and dry between waterings. Seemed to help. Very touch strain...

Another update: of the 2 that never popped, I decided on a whim to soak them again. 1 popped today!!! so thats 9 out of 10 popped, and still slow to veg, but I will keep updating.

i got some getting ready to go into flower myself.. had alot of probs with them in the beginning as it seemslike they were weak and died soon after coming above ground so i was sent another pack and they are now bout a week from going into flower.. i cant agree with the slow veg tho.. after the first week above ground mine took off like a rocket. im hoping i get alot of purple cuz thats y i bought them but i've been hearing reports from ppl half way through flower with very lil purple.. hope that doesnt happen to me.... i'd be pissed..

funny dizzythug420 => Mine are currently 10 days 12/12 , it seems like we popped the DPD at the same time , 10/10 germination success , had problems at the beginning with low temp and high humidity, I will know for sure the sex in 1-2 days ...

hummm well i WAS excited about possibly getting some DPD but after reading this thread i'm not sure if they are worth the money now
....germing not doing to well i see, but the bigger kicker is the fact that this one does not seem to put out the color that the oreganal(sp) black russian did....ummm does any body know where one can buy straight black russian seeds??........

You want a good Purple Blackberry plant. Go over and buy some of Jojo's Blackberry Widow. Everyone of the seeds i dropped from the F2's showed nice purple and one was getting very dark,dark purple and a awesome Blackberry smell. Sorry, didn't mean to jack the thread. I just had when someone spends money and dones't get what they are looking for. I would figure there would have been better color myself. Not ripping or flaming on Subcool or any of his crew. I have the Black Russian seeds and will grow them as soon as i can. These seeds are gone, unless someone does F2's or F3's. Blackberry Widow is your best bed and very good source from Jojo.

No hijacking apologies necessary. I am sorry I have'nt updated this thread in a while. My tallest DPD is only about 4 inches tall. I usually let the get about 8 or 9 inches tall then take clones. I sex the clones and keep the original seed mothers.
I should take a picture, but my camera blows. I got a new one, but don't know how to use it yet. I have 2 other strains going with purple tendencies in them - so I will be posting more eventually...

i to am sorry for butting into your thread here my friend.....umm as far as the vbsxak47 i have some of those on my vbs plant right now, there just starting to form as we speak.....also got a cross of oger kush X ak-47 that should be a killer match......but atlass i wass really really hoping i could get my hands on some true black russian, i guess i will just have to settle for F2's if any one makes any ......and i will look into jojo's work and maybe try and get a few blackberry widows, i was offered some a few months back but nothing ever came of it ..

Here's a link to one of Jojo's auction. You can trust his seeds and i've grown them and Capt Crip has also and i'm sure others have also.

I wasn't going to say anything, but i have a bunch of Jojo's F2's and F3's of the Blackberry Widows and I also have the Black Russian seeds. Not to mention a bunch of Gypsy's veryberry surprise which is Blackberry or something cross to BB. With all these Blackberry Hybrids. My plan is to grow all of them out at one time and take a look at all of them and pick the very best ones "M's/F's" and try to really pull out that super bright Blackberry pheno. I've got about 100 seeds to work with and it should be a good grow. The plan is to restock the seeds of each one and then grow them out and do the crossing. If all works out and I hope it does. We should have something very close to the Soma Blaze cut, but i'd like the have the color of the cut and the flavor. I guess will see once i'm back and before anyone ask. YES, I will give some of these seeds away and post some on seedbay once they are where i want them. Well, I guess i'm going to head out. I hope to see some pretty purple pictures here soon. So I'm working with what I got for now, but thanks to some nice folks here, I got a few other things up my sleeve...
