Update flower day 40
After a trichome check I decided that they need to be flushed already. 90% milky and first ones turning amber already. Both go 7 weeks tops.

How do you like the Seriotica?
Can you describe her growth pattern and high?
Is she really that fast flowering yet powerful?
The description of the strain sounds tempting and knowing it's Serious Seeds they always deliver but there are not many reports of her to be found.
Cheers ☮️

I don't know what her describtion is. I met Simon's son, the creator, at the Mary Jane and we talked for a while.
There isn't much because its a new strain. I think they made it 2023 or something. Basically what he told me is that with the fem seeds the growth comes from the cookies and the terps go more in the mimosa direction.
He showed me some seriotica weed. It was very colorful purple and bit of orange. Very exotic look.
The smell to me was a lot like Sprite, but when the sprakles are gone. Sweet lime/orange type smell.

The reg seeds when released are supposed to go the other way. Terp wise more cookie.

I just popped 3 seeds. Destroyed one. Flowered the #1 and it came out green, but the smell is sweet apple pie and the taste in the joint is coating pure candy:D
Now, I am flowering #2 and it showed purple hues like at day 10 of flower and now at day 25 she smells like pure mimosa, like bitter/sweet red orange.

Growth imho the clones are better than the seeds. Seedplants were raw, thick, short stretch, like double or triple. Clones are finer, not as thick, but still;) and they stretch like 3-4 times. Going from 30 to 1m.
Is she really that fast flowering yet powerful?
I'd say solid 8-week-er. Solid all around, except maaaaaaybe for the high.
It's a daytimer. Very mellow euphoric effect.
It would not close my day properly, but it would start it beautifully.
Good to smoke with ppl that aren't heavy smokers. Good fun weed. For sure not a heavy hitter.

I like it. Solid work from serious seeds.

Thank you for this detailed description, valuable information.

If there will be a regular seeds release, i will wait for that. :) Still hope they restock Chronic regulars at some point too.

@El Pollo Diablo thanks for the tipps. I had already cut the batch of clones. Next time I will cut the GG4 earlier and cut more clones to really select the very fastest and strongest ones. Anyway these clones are as perfect as it gets. Big and strong :pimp3:

This time I put the GG4 in a couple of days before the others. It's really cool that I can disconnect 3 of the 4 250w Lamps so I don't have to waste power. The other strains are staying in the nursery under 26w.
I really hope I can push this run to the limit. This time I am not wasting a single spot on seed plants.

Hey nice to see you also reporting here...

Yes you really need to give them a slow start with lights and such, to let them root into the system before you raise up the light, wind etc.

Always Baby Steps with her! You can't force her, starting with heavy lighting and nutes, to performe faster like other strains at the start. It's not an easy beginner Strain for sure.

I would suggest starting with an EC about 1,4 for rooting into the pebbles with lights dimmed, then 1,5-1,6 for veg and flower as soon as they're showing distinct progress in growth.

@El Pollo Diablo Can't wait to see the GG at full strength after extra veg.
Would you say the GG has diesel terps? It's sure no gas, right?

@Dr.Dutch follow me here bro;) thers's more to see

They all smell really crazy. There's everything in there. Lemon Candy, Orange Fruit, Cream Soap and all kinds of Gas and who know how the Grape Venom will turn out.
I'll be cutting them down just after Christmas so it will be like opening presents for a second time this year.

Next run is in the making and it will be a crazy one. I plan to run 9 different things: Gelato33, RS11, Studio54, Ice Cream Cake, Apple Fritter, Grape Venom, Lemon Zkittle, BETA, Gorilla Glue #4
It's going to be a selection for Mothers. They're all clones that I bought or collected this year. I quarantined them to make sure there are no bugs or mildew and now they are going in.
(they had both..)
Normally I would give each one a whole bed to test them but I am too impatient and it's going to be a circus run.
What is your process for treatment and for how long for mildew or bugs once you know you have them while in quarantine?

You have to know that if I do this then I make a mother plant of that plant, or I take a clone and then make a mother plant. What I mean is between the plant in the quarantine and the clone that I take into flowering is always at least one generation.
Because of that I use chemical stuff in quarantine. Systemic and touch2kill. I also use nematodes for the soil. I don't take any chances bringing in clones.
Even if any of it stays in that plant, I take a clean clone and make a new mom and from that I take a clone and then grow it and flower. I never flower a plant that I treated chemically.

I am heavily digging the cleanliness of your pristine setup, also love the simplicity of the feed.

I’ve been trying to learn more about soilless having been stuck on organic for a long long time, so simple hydro with good results is very appealing when trying to learn the basics.

Nice one! 👍

Peace
