Hmm, I always thought plants took in oxygen during their dark cycle, making it not only important for foliage, but necessary for the survival of the plant itself.

The whole plant NEEDS oxygen, the roots just need most of it. Trying to grow plants in pure CO2 = dead plants.

I must say, great little set up, I may or may not... have something similar in my closet...

anyways.... there were a few problems i encountered... such as having all kinds of lamps in there like that, and now I must say its not much better, but I can say it is "better."

The key i think, is to just take the time every day or two, and get a piece of paper, and sketch some ideas for what you can do in your area. Then head up to walmart when you can, and get things to make it better. Another is that I dont have a current intake / outtake, just leave the door open sometimes and have a big ass fan in there constantly, and the One lady i got out of about 6 seems to be doing okay minus the little nute burn it got when switching from veg stage nuts to bloom nutes.

yea i have enough room for a small hps but idk if its worth loosing the 7 in. or so itll up.... i only have about 3 feet........ but im keeping okay temps with 300 watts of cfls and i have 4 plants in there that i need more height for... but ill make it work

Ya might consider attaching the backboard to the shelves & installing hinges on one side. That way you could just swing the whole thing out of the way when you want to get back there to tend your plants...would be much easier.

verry true i think 1500 ppm is optimal.... plus pure co2 would sink into the roots (gravity) so that would fuck you any way

Ya might consider attaching the backboard to the shelves & installing hinges on one side. That way you could just swing the whole thing out of the way when you want to get back there to tend your plants...would be much easier.

it wouldnt open then...the shelves wouldnt let it.... that fits almost perfectly in there...........

well im thinking something along the idea of a tent but istead of a roof just using two curtains extending from the ceiling then putting mylar over the walls and ceiling any ideas as to what i should use for the curtain material
