if i store the pollen in an air tight test tube do i still have to freeze it or can i keep it in the fridge for atleast 3 weeks or so when BETTY starts packing on the buds i want to dust a lower branch and get some more magic thai beans
some for donation to SB for them to do as they please

I would think keeping it in the fridge it should be fine for three weeks, but i could be wrong. I stagger my male and female plants and never had to save pollen. I'm sure someone else will post info, but i would think three weeks should be fine. Can't wait to see some seeds off your girl. I'm sure others will enjoy them. Sorry, to see you got out bid on the auction for the last pack. I'll hit you up later on next year.

how long does it take for a seed to mature ,i wanna pollinate betty but if i do it to soon wont the plant put most of the energy toward making seeds than to making buds. last time i pollinated a plant it made all the seeds before the buds so at the and the buds were scrawny as hell

i tied her down some more tonight and i ran a tape measure as best i could along her stalk top to bottom and she's about 11 feet tall give or take ,trying to measure a bent tied bush is hard

I would snap freeze the pollen but thats just me, i keep seeds in the fridge but pollen in the freezer. It worked when i pollenated a deep chunk a while back but make sure there is zero plant material in with the pollen as the slightest bit of water or moisture will kill the pollen from what i read.

for sure bro, theres only one way to find out if it works and thats to do a test, good idea, half in fridge, half freezer, see what works best

I too been playin wit sum pollen,but in a redneck sorta way!!!!I kept 2 tops from a sativa lookin thunderfuck male and puttem in a glass of water,last week they threw pollen all over my collection plate,so's i gathered and then dumped the whole lot onto 1 lower bud,it's the only one who's hairs dried up and browned out so i,m hopin it took!How'd ya make out with the Blackout beans?Killer tree dude!!

Hit her now with the pollen. Better safe then sorry. It's going to take a full three weeks for the seeds to muture. If you have a freeze or quick cold front. Well, lets say your fucked. If you pollenate her now. You at least have seeds to work with. You should have seeds ready to harvest about first or second week of Oct. Harvet with tweezer and a shot glass. That's my method and it works wonder while the buds aren't ready to harvest. Place a shot glass below a bud and flick the seeds into a shot glass with tweezers. Better now then later. That's how i made these seeds your growing now.

Boy, she's starting to really bud now. Give her about two more weeks and she'll kick into high gear. I really love that second picture. Love the picture of that top. Man, i can't believe how long it's been and how far Betty has come for you. I'm very proud of your grow and you have done her very well. Your girl has perfect color, no damage to leaves from bugs or fungi and has just really took off from the start. AWESOME job I really hope the pollen takes for you and your able to make some seeds. It would be nice to see others get some seeds from these genes also. I still plan to bring back the seeds i made from the same parents. They are in a safe location and seeds will be availible next year. Most likely summer time or early fall. Your in a better place and time for making seeds then i am now. Good luck and go for it. Hope you get a nice seed harvest and I'm sure the bud harvest is going to be killer also. Don't worry about loosing strength with the seeds, because my females were actully Dangerous. Your in for a super ride with this smoke.

high GDW thats not the top believe it or not ,thats a side branch top is more to the right and its tied down that branch that's in the pic also got tied down after pic i had 1 branch break but i propped and tied it back up but is was a bad break so when i go out to see her again im gonna try and prop all the branches that i can ,i'll get a pic of the break to
