My 2016 Outdoor Grow (Southern Hemisphere)

Hey Buds!
All the ideas of excess water had me wondering if I did kill with kindness.
I don't have a moisture meter. But I did dig a hole to bottom of the bed to search for water logged mud. The soil was lightly moist, even partialy dry all the way down. The clay bottom was moist but not sign of excessive moisture.
We can cross over watering off the list. Glad because I haven't killed a plant with kindness in over a decade. :)

Until I figure out the root of the problem. I'm just going to continue watering with phed water.

I'm still concerned about EC reading 3,200 from well water. What the heck could make water so high in Electric conductivity ???

I think pittymick has a good idea of pulling one that you know isn't going to make it to see what the roots and soil are looking like down there. If it is in fact root root have you ever heard of a product called Actinovate and would you be able to get it down there? It is a biological control that fights the bad root rot pathogens.[/QUOT
Whidatis, it would probably be a nightmare trying to import any products here. Uruguay has a tight control if what comes into the country. And what does come in is double the price.
There are some biological control companies here that I can look into. I'll check them out so that if needed I know where to go. Thanks man!

I wonder if using atleast a single stage water filter would substantially lower the ppms of your well water. Can you filter it?

What about rain collection barrels or something along those lines too? That might help you out on lower EC water? Just throwing aroun ideas...

no man thats not fusaruim , your safe there . it sucks the trunk in shrinking it to half the size and plant wilts . has a grey look to it . normally about a foot from the ground the stem starts rotting and shrinking . looks bruised .

seems like soil is sweet well draining . obviously your own mix . i thought you may have been in native soil thats what it looked like from the pics

some sort of bacterial disease . think theres a few topics on them up top of the outdoor section .

sorry man thats all i got ! i,m out of idea,s . i,m really bad when you start getting into the leaf disease problems and minerals .

could quiet possibly look at a all minerals foliar spray .

i,d say its your water , anything above 1000 is unfit for human consumption . but i,m sure you stopped using the water by now . hopefully you can turn things around . be lots of salt/mineral build up in the soil now i guess as well .

hope its only few plants man, i feel your pain

Thanks for giving me a hand PittyMick and everyone else. Lesson learned. Expensive lesson but a lesson I'll learn from.

I'll post more pics soon. As im really busy preparing for our product launch on Monday. Super excited. Hoping to help change the cannabis laws on a totally different approach....

Could it be snails? The little fuckers get a few of my outdoor girls every year. They chew off the outer layer of skin/bark ussually on the lower part of the plant. The plant will start looking like its wilting like its thirsty at first then leaves will start yellowing and browning then a few days later the plant dies.

I have used copper wire around the base and it slows some of them. But the best method I have used to keep the little fuckers of my plants. I take a larger aluminum can tallest one you can find. I cut the bottom and top off. I cut about 1" slits around the top all the way around. Then I bend those strips over 90degrees. I wrap the can around the base of the plant but also push into the ground a good inch so they can't crawl underneath either. When they crawl up the can they get turned upside down and fall off.

Hey guys!

Sorry for not returning with updates. I'm sad to say I lost the entire harvest. It hurt me to the point that I coulnt bring myself to even talk about it. Until next season this grow is over.

I hope my fellow growers in the northern hemisphere have a bounty of beatiful flowers this growing season.

Hey Who Dat IS.

The product launch was for crowdfunding. If funded I would have been able to have the manufacture begin production of the product. I did launch the campiagn. There were many mistakes that I saw in the campaign plus I came to a point where I ran flat out of money to go any further that I just ended up pulling the plug on the 3rd day. I have since returned to donors money.

Here's the video campaign link for Wrap & Root Cloning Strips.

I do have two investors who are interested and we are doing some new test trials to see if they want to invest. But my concern is investors will want to do what they do best and thats invest to make money. I get it. But Im not looking to be a millionare. I want to help change laws. If I can use funding from a product to help make a difference in the cannabis laws, then I would feel richer than having that million in my pocket. It would be great if I could make Wrap & Root, kindve like an open source product (if i understand "open source" correctly) Meaning that if I could make it open to change to continually better the product from the community. Instead of closed R&D doors I could have it open for others to see where it could be better and move that direction. Wrap & Root could be sold at the most competive prices and all profits could go to making a differnce in our community.

Thanks for the video link. That's an interesting take on cloning. Being from North Carolina myself I liked seeing and hearing Faye Daniel. I miss the accent and it's cool to see a wider demographic becoming more open to Cannabis and its benefits. The whole "Reefer Madness" mentality is steadily fading away. Keep up the good work

So sorry to here about the lost harvest. Something we Guerrillas deal with often.

The strips look promising. Best of luck with those, I look forward to seeing them at a local store one day.
Canada is set to go legal for recreational next year.:woohoo:
Thank's again for spreading the word.

Peace GG

Gurilla Ganja, the outdoors has given me the most thrills and the most challenges too. This year mother nature hurt me pretty good, so I'll be indoors under lights HIDs licking my wounds this winter. hehe

Thanks for the positive vibes.
