Multi-spots guerilla - Help : Spotted or animal issue ?

Hi guys,
I'm now growing Mi5, RRF and Auto assassin, in three different spots, with between 2 and 6 plants per spot, probably more to come. There're all in pot for now, because I didn't have time and energy to dig holes, maybe I will some day :p I also got Blue Streak and Purple Jems seeds which i really want to try, but don't know where and when to plant them yet.
Anyway, I don't have any camera but my crappy mobile phone, so not much pics to show you for now.

So I got two Mi5 in the first spot, only two because it's not a very good location for light, too much trees around, but I wanted to see what I could get in here. The two plants took a very long time to start, but as the weather gets better and the days longer, they have started to grow faster and became these to healthy females, starting to bud; You can see them on the first pic...

Now the second sopt, and here's why i need your opinions; I have my oldest Mi5 in here, about 45 days old, and two young auto assassins. But today I went to check them, and they have been cut/eaten, I don't know. The Mi5 lost lost some side buds and leaves, as you can see on the pics. The cuts are clean like it has been carefully cut. Second and third pics...

My first guess was I've been spotted by some idiots who took some buds away. But I'm not sure about that, because of this :
-both buds AND leaves have been cut off, and the top buds and the main cola remain.
-I found a small branch that felt on the floor, with a little bud on it, so if I've really been spotted, the stealer forgot it...
- The two Auto Assassins are almost completly gone, but they were small and not showing any buds yet, so no reason to steal them at all...

What do you think guys ? I would be so relieved if I knew it's an animal, and not a stealer, I don't want anyone near my little girls... And I can't move the Mi5 now, it's too big (60-70 cm).

The third spot has to be the best one, but I didn't have any pics yet.

I wish you guys a good week end! :)

if someone has spotted them, i would think they would just steal the whole thing!!! But you never know there are some wierd ass people out there...

I know... And stealing the whole two little plants but not the big one would be wierd too... I kinda was excpecting to get rabbits issues as there are a lot in the area. But it's almost like it's been cut with a knife or something.. wierd :(

it does look like its been cut by a human wierdo lol... what about moving the remaining ones to a new site and put mesh round them just to make sure !!! an old grower i used to talk to used to put sand round his patch to see what was going near them..you could try that ..

sand ? You mean to check foot steps and stuff ? Doesn't seem like a bad idea... I know I should move it but like I said it's a bit tricky, the plant is already quite tall and stinky... I don't know how to carry it without damaging it, and I would have to give it a ride with my car, makes me kind of paranoid :s

Anyway if it's a stealer then the guy doesn't know anything about cannabis...

yep sand for checking for foot step's wether it's a animal or human, this will tell ya
but it has to be wide so you can't step over it ..

maybe its a old guy that hasnt got a clue ..but wonders why they're in square buckets and taken specimens to show someone.. speculation i suppose ..but ive got a wild imagination lol

the sand does seem like a good idea! i agree with moving them too, They are in pots so they would be alot easier to move than if they were in the ground! And just to be Frank, if they are in pots in the middle of nowhere some chicken wire, or mesh wouldnt make them stand out anymore than they are! Esp. if you paint them black or something!

Could be deer, pee in a jug and pour it around them next time you go. This happens fairly regular with some of my spots. Usually once i get a few good apps of piss things seems to stop "go missing"

if its critters, take a bar of irish spring soap and run a peeler over it a few times around the area, go about ten ta 20 feet out, leave lots of shavings...

Just a thought mate....

Just a thought mate....

If some do-gooder has stumbled upon them it is possible they have suspected they are cannabis plants but are un-sure so have taken a couple of leaves away for a second opinion?

Dont want to worry you mate - just another possible scenario, if poss i'd move them to another location nearby and plant them in the ground perhaps behind some other vegetation?

Problem is there's not much sunny/hidden areas in the location, don't know where I could move it ...
Bighill, could deer leave such clean cuts like that ? If so I'm gonna go with the peeing stuff, and see what happens.
Well this is a possible scenario, a grower snipping clones because Whaou, this plant is already flowering in June !! :wahey:
But there's still no reason for stealing leaves aswell :/

That looks like deer to me. If a plant is very small they might eat the whole thing. But if the plant is bigger they will only eat part of it, leaving it to grow so they can come back for more later. Their bite is very clean and can look like a razor was used. I've tried many methods to discourage them, from urine to commercial products. Urine can be effective but needs to be reapplied after every rain. The best product I've found is called Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent. I get it at Tractor Supply. Spray the plants and the area around them, repeat a week later and again every month after that. Over 3 years of use it's been 100% effective. I've seen hoof prints as close as 6" from the plants and they didn't touch them. Smells like crap but works well.

Well if it's deer I better take care of it asap, before they come back. I'm gonna try to get some products tomorrow, but I'm in France so I don't think I'll find the same as yours Muddy... I'll let you know anyway.

Yeah mate, they can leave very clean cuts, i swore that some one was taking cuts. Until i came up on the family of them chilling in the grow area one time. Another tip off was the poo, piles of pebbles lying around = some kind of 4 legged herbavor!

I used to grow with a buddy who swears if you crack an egg into your piss jug a few days before you head out, it will last through a few rains. I just piss into a jug lol.. kinda disgusting as it is, without adding rotten egg to the mix. The only SURE way is build a physical barrier around them.

You'll get it solved.

urine will sometimes attract deer, instead of repel them. if you are sure it is deer, eat a few meals heavy on meat, & go take a dump near your plants. animals can tell carnivore droppings from herbivore by the aroma, & clear out. if you have a zoo/animal rescue center nearby, lion or tiger poop is said to work wonders on deer, as does clumps of human hair from barber shops etc. a rabbit bite looks clean as a razor cut, too. good luck!
