This variety brings back that majestic legendary marijuana from the great Alaskan Northland. Highly recommended by the best fishing and hiking guides
The buds are huge and solid as rock. A glacier of THC crystals frosts her colas but not frosty like yumbolt or other strains . Persons prone to altitude sickness should use caution... few times I notice that can happen even to regular smokers, even if is indica the strong cerebral stone is evident…but maybe she will change to more sedative when well cured .the flavor is like a mix of kind of wood and some fruit very complex to describe, somethimes the chocolate flavor is noticed .Definely is one of the softest smokes i ever try because the smoke don’t get harsh for your lungs or throat, the smell is strong and skunk type…maybe a litlle bit diferent .I am not saying thatt is the best weed I have try but its very unique because is flavor and odor.some details about the growing ,well she not the easyest strain i have grow I had a few problems in soil about some deficencys in some nuts ,I veg the mother to 50 days then clone it was easy and she done well in 8 days root show of .the strech of this lady was quiet big but not like a pure sativa, she was finish at day 63 flowering ,and the strange thing thatt this lady until the end show very few brow hairs ,the perfeft ripe is when the seed pod stops to swell up and getting bigger and the crystals of on the top of the buds turn from transparent to milky white the plant is ripe and is time to chop. Other thing is the top leaf of the plant most of the times is a bit bubbly it resembles the symtoms of over-watering ,but is not ist very comum in this strain. I find some differences in taste between organic methods and hydro.. organic taste better lol
i learn about some reading thatt
Alaska hasn't any indigenous strains, so it would make it very, very difficult for Matanuska to be a pure strain. Matanuska is a hybrid that grows like an Indica and has a Sativa high, that rules out the chance of it being a pure strain? Also a lot of people say thatt real matanuska only are avaible in clones?i don’t have clue.

For reference, the original name is Alaskan Matanuska Valley Thunderf*ck. The name " Matanuska Tundra " was made up by the Sagarmatha Seed Company in Amsterdam. Supposedly, Rob from Sagarmatha actually went to Alaska and got some genetics that were available, took them back to 'Dam and crossed them with Dutch strains, Peak-19 being one variation.
Exception to the rule, after years of being cultivated in Alaska, some versions of Matanuska have become acclimatized and, in Matanuska. Maybe... Rob from Sagarmatha got lucky and found someone with some "true" Matanuska SEEDS.
if not the true is i am very pleased with rob work
