Yep, he was good to the core.
Many, many, many years ago i had a situation where i had to get everything out of my house in 24hrs. He let me bring a uhaul full of 4ft plants over to his house and finish flowering them under his lights. I never got to repay the favor.
I miss the shit out of him. I can't even watch his team play football without tearing up, knowing I can't call him and talk smack.
