Took some male flowers for harvesting into a cup of water. Killed C99-B(clones taken from). I am waiting a few more days before I do the same thing to C99-A.

All of them have 11 bladed fan leaves! I thought they stopped at 9. Shows what I know. *Correction* upon recounting on the picture I got 12!

Do you intend to use the pollen from that flowers ? I know that water kills the pollen, or am I wrong ?

I plan on catching the pollen on something besides water. But I didn't know water killed pollen... where did you hear that?

So my oh so special gift showed up!

i bet those f2 seeds will be killer , thats a very nice strain for sure, all ya got to do is dust a couple tiny bottom nugs that are all flarf anyway, and ya will get 50 ish seeds easy.

^^^That's exactly what I did. My first grow, I got 50 seeds easy by brushing 2 or 3 lower budsites with pollen. Free genetics to play with for a long time!

When are you going to stop feeding her?

Getting any smells from the buds yet?

Well president's day is gonna be day 56, I am hoping to get a nice early harvest.
I may push it off to day 63.
And day 70 just happens to line up with lunar moon phase for harvest.

I am going to flush with florakleen 5 days or so before I plan to whak her over. I will see how it goes as I get closer. I have 30x and 60x lighted pocket microscopes. So I will be checking trichomes.

Smell is very minimal? My smell hasn't been that great due to a cold I am dealing with. Nothing like my outdoor plants. By this time in flower on my last run if I was within a few feet I could smell skunk.

With all that in mind I love hearing different opinions and feedback from everyone. So if their is anything on you peoples minds then just fire away.

Plants that are stressed, ie plants struggling with pH/lockout, light burn/bleaching, will produce less terpenes than a clone of the same plant that isn't dealing with those issues.

Once in a while I have cola tops grow too close to the light and get squirrely/airy and/or light bleached. The very tops of those colas have little to no smell and smoke poorly. I usually cut that crap off and throw it in with the sugar trim I save for making bubble.

You aren't going to feed her til 5 days before chop when you start using florakleen are you?

My plants never get anything but water the last 3 weeks of flowering.

I will consider that fact blynx and will try to avoid food.

Florakleen is not a food(as far as I know) it is a commercial flushing product.
GH advised feeding up until the last week with their food line and then following up with a flush.

I will give you that, their feeding schedule is handled well by some of my plants but this one it is waaaaay to much.

My only fear is that my soil is only worm casting, sand, and perlite. I am not sure how much NPK reserve is in their?

A little macro bud porn.

I don't typically check my ph in my nute solution.
I use water from a 125 gallon fish tank resevoir.

I have RO on standby though... prolly 30 gallons.
I only have an aquarium vial ph tester.

love the pink buds! :) repped!

I'd test ph as suggested, I too have a vial ph test, very basic but saved my life... best of luck mate, nice project!

I'm interested in getting into the LEDs, I was looking at the same light that your using. It's probably still too early, but I was wondering what your opinions are so far about your light.

@FieldofDreams

So far so good with the LED. It was much louder than I had anticipated upon ordering. But it is built very strong. Is insanely bright. And their customer service was great.
But I really don't have much to compare it against.

I wouldn't worry so much about clear/cloudy/amber trichs. Look at how the plant looks overall. Are the large fans dying? Is the plant starting to eat itself? Are the calyxes swollen? Do the buds 'look' mature? etc

You are only at week 5 of flowering. The c99 crosses are quick, but not that quick :p

If it were me, i'd stop feeding the plant at this point and just give it water the rest of the way.
