Espoma contends that its rock phosphate is safe and contains no heavy metals.

I have had good results using high phosphorus guano in mycorrhizal media. I read that rock phosphate is the preferred source, but that may be a conventional gardening maxim rather than one that applies to us. It is cheaper than high P guano and apparently lasts longer in the soil, but if you have a supply of guano there is certainly no reason not to use it.

so if it works with High P guano... does it not like High N nutrients alltogether? or is it fine with that too?

no it likes nitrogen, its the urea and ammonia it doesn't like. I don't think it kills the fungi, just doesn't encourage it to colonize further.

A composted nitrogen source is best. I haven't tried it with just worm castings, I always feed with PBP grow too, but that castings is probably enough, particularly for mother plants.
