OMG!!! Brothers Grimm is coming back?? Amazing!!

C99 was my bread and butter forever. I still talk about bros Grimm stuff to this day! I can't even count how many times I've said "if only bros Grimm was still around...". Everything from them was great. I feel like this is some awesome dream and I am going to wake up any minute... lol.

Wish I knew what site that is?
This site bans some names of people in competition.
( just so you know)

4 packs of gold!

Hi Mr Soul, I thought you would be much older for some reason.
With a big wizard beard... How wrong I was..
Can't wait to see your new/ old work.

I'm sure they sold immediately all to one buyer. Looking forward to scooping some fresh c99 stock. It's kinda crazy how many companies were biting his c99. Many got their running start selling his c99. 10 years ago c99 was the equivalent to what gsc is today, with everyone trying to get their hands on it and the amount of hybrids being made. The best one.ive personally grown was the schrom x c99 I may still have these..

I don't think they've gone up yet......Soul just mentioned doing this yesterday or today on the other site, they still have to be mailed in I would imagine.

Maybe Soul could let us know when this is to go down if it hasn't already.

Here's his original post which was posted 3 hours ago:

"High there! No - I have no stock leftover from SSSC. I do have seeds from a NL5/Haze cross that I've got in mind for future projects, however my first priority is to produce a fresh batch of the Bros Grimm original Cinderella 99 & Apollo 11 / Apollo 13 series... perhaps I'll even release a P75 intermediate generation of C99 because that's actually a very nice plant. In the coming years I'll surely cross some of the classic Bros Grimm strains with some of the popular new strains... like Gorilla Glue, Bruce Banner, etc.

Do they hold auctions here? If so, I may want to list some vintage beans for you guys to fight over - can someone help me out on this?"

Posted an hour ago:

"Thanks to EVERYONE at ebay for the kind words & warm welcome.

I'm putting four packets of ten (10) Apollo 11 seeds up for auction. Total of 40 seeds. They are from the original release in 1998.

So many have expressed a desire to have an advance before the official release of Bros Grimm... this seems the fairest way to do that. I don't have hundreds of seeds, so there won't be more than one or two auctions".

Hope this helps!

I've just put four packs of original release Apollo 11 seeds on ******** if anyone is interested.

Wow that's very interesting.

That said and not to criticize but I wouldn't pay original price for original stock it's old. But that's my opinion I bet those packs were gone in 5 mins or less.

Well I'm interested to see where you decide to vend if it's not somewhere easy to use I won't bother I am very interested in your genetics but I don't do work to buy premium priced seeds either they are available or not. I'm already paying g a hour ow to worth of my time worked I don't do more work for seeds.

Not a negative thought more trying to be constructive and mention some of my parameters for buying. These days there's alot of competition and I don't just buy a name I buy a product and name.

Very cool Soul ! I was really hyped to see your planning on using some of the current popular strains to breed with bros gear in the future. After the Dunn show I was curious if you would do some type of collaboration with any of the other Colorado breeders, like Jason (darkhorse), scott from rare dankness, subcool, etc. Noticed that your planning on a 4/20 drop.. will you be at the cannabis cup ? last year it was the 18th , through the 20th. Plenty of high times politics, but a great time to get out and meet lots of admirers and fans, as well as sell them beans. Last year all of the tents that actually had seeds to sell had lines all day.... ANYONE that had a dab rig on their table had a line !

Mr Soul out of curiosity, by the sounds of things on the Dunn show you plan on releasing seeds in 6 months, are you basically just going to be open pollenating everything or will you be doing actual selection?

Also Mr soul, you should consider releasing your seeds on a website that takes credit cards I know you've been out of the loop for a while but a lot of people have been getting burned the last few years with mail in payments. If you want to do auctions consider seeday. Seedbay is owned by the same people that run icmag. Seedbay is about as good as it gets when it comes to auctions. BTW the seeds must be pretty old have you germ tested them?

Seedbay maybe?

I don't think I'm allowed to talk about other non affiliated places on here... I wish I could PM you. I think you need to get to 25 or 50 posts first...

Thanks for helping to clear this up Danny... I'm going to put the packets in the mail tomorrow, so plan accordingly!

Soul

OMG!!!

I missed the f'ng drop MAN!!!!

Looks like I will have to stay CAMPED out for a few long months jeeeez!

Those last few Nuggetshiner's cinderella 99 popped but never sprouted...

so what is the best method for germing these older beans? I heard you could use gibberellic acid to jump start old seeds but dont know where to find any or what amount to give. Tryed everything on some old cindy f2's I made over 8 years ago and they just sit there and dont pop...

Please say you're gonna do the MVTF at some point always wanted to try a good representation of that one. Of course the cindy will be the tops on my list for sure.

Alot of people mixing up everything under the sun with the same strains lately like og kush and the diesel in fact seems like it was the right time for some real gear.

I appreciate your advice as I have been out of the loop. Can you direct me to the Seedbay please?

Yes, I've germ tested the seeds and they're fine. I've had them in the fridge in proper sealed containers. They are visually good-looking too. 12 years is not bad if the storage conditions were good, i.e, refrigerated in air-tight containers.

GA3 can also be used in the germination water at 100-250 ppm as good insurance.

Thanks again - Soul
Hey man in case no one else has helped yet. Do a member search for "old pink" on here. Try to send him a pm. He is the one running stuff and can help you out. BTW. That auction is gonna break records !
