Why doesn't someone revolutionize the industry of movie theatres by allowing people to smoke pot during the movie. Holland has coffee shops, but I've never heard of movie theatres where you can blaze during the film. I actually think it would be a smash to be able to smoke some hashish or quality herbs from a hookah with my date if I were to go to the movies and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea during the process.

that im not sure, probably because it costs $$$$ is my best guess. having to make each image look as if it's right there in front of you... but hookahs in the comfort of a theatre just sounds too good for some one not cash in on.

My dad used to go to 3D movies back in the day, it has to be cheaper now. I just think it is too cool to be in just the Imax.

Heh Tarkus lets open a drive-in 3D movie theater and let everyone smoke all the weed they want. You drive up and get your 3D glasses, radio station frequency and a pack of rolling papers.

No shit DJ!!!! I have never been to a drive in, and hell, I have only seen ONE that is still operating. That is weak sauce! I think a drive in 3D movie screen would kick ass!

And yeah, sell a little nug at the place too.

3D movies are novelties, they are entertaining but never in find cinematic works. just imagine if all of a sudden leonardo dicaprios guns jumps out of the screen at you in the departed.... would kind ahave ruined its cinematic quality. dont get me wrong id go so a 3D movie high.

I was at the Drive-in by my house recently and went with a friend and we got so stoned we both fell askeep and woke up during the credits, lol.

I think the key is to blaze enough till it looks like 3D.

I think a drive-in/cannabis club theater could possible be done in Cali or if you cant join them directly bc of law, build a small theater right next to a Cannabis dispensery and own both spots. It would just play throw-backs/stoner classics all day.

Ive been to a drive in once love em. Only 3d movies Ive seen though were at universal.

you could just pass out small 10 inch flat screens that connect wireless and everybody gets their own screen. that way the deaf or hearing imparred can use subtitles and by not needing to center everything around a central main screen you could run it out of a parking garage on private property and also dispense buds, snacks, hash, drinks and everything else the customer would want while utilizing space efficiently and maximizing profit. and when the theatre is not open you could charge for parking..

It really is a good idea, isn't it. I think it would be a whole new rage in Holland. I mean, sure there'd be some coughing and that would be disruptive, but shit... that wouldn't discourage anyone from going to see a movie. Hopefully some coffe shop owner or whatever in amsterdam will see this and take action, you could become a very rich man or woman.

But I can picture having the option of cannabutter on your popcorn instead of regular butter :-D

Wow.. you would think by now people would have some kind of understanding about insurance and business acumen.

No one will insure you for any kind of movie theater where theres any kind of smoking of anything.. and if they do you wont be able to afford the 'high' risk premiums.

Anyone heard of the Alamo Drafthouse?? They are movie theaters that sell meals and have little tables in front of you. You order your food during the credits, or really anytime you want, and they bring it to you while you watch the movie. Damned if I didn't have that idea when I was about 8 years old.
Plus, they sell booze.

Back in the old days of theater they used to allow smoking. Like in the 1920s or whatever when people didn't have TVs, and actually watched the news inside of a theater. People would be walking around and talking and all that.

It would be nice to have something like that.

I think if it were a small theater (say 15 seats, like in a coffee shop) then u could get that insured. There's gonna be away around that insurance thing if restaruants and coffee shops can get insured.
