I got the Mango Biche from Humboldt CSI's preservation run that got released around Thanksgiving, first time growing it, and I'm really liking how it is shaping up, the resin looks like it will have the potency im searching.

Edit: I also got Burmese IBL sativa from CSI, haven't heard much about burmese other than it being used by TH Seeds in its Burmese Kush it released around 2010
Very nice. I hadn’t heard about that one yet, but I’m loving yours. I picked up the CongoBiche cross from Energenetics, it just sounded too good to pass up.
I’ve seen the Burmese around and haven’t pulled the trigger yet, hopefully you have a good experience. I look forward to seeing the results.

Dope thread man. Love the strains you are working with. Got a Honduras seedling at the moment, along with some Lao Sa. That acupulco gold looks super beautiful. My kind of plant that.
Thank you! I haven't heard of Lao Sa, is that a thai plant?
I'm looking forward to finishing the Acapulco to see how it smokes, not much smell coming yet, but it still has a long ways to go.

Ill have to check energenetics out, havent heard of them before. Congobiche sounds pretty interesting, although i havent tried either before.
The Burmese i hope to get around to one day, from the very little research i did on it, it appears to be about 20 weeks or more in flower to finish.

Topped the Double Chocolate Thai a couple of nights ago, and am watching the Thai to do the same within the next week.

Great stuff. Inspirational grow with nice strain selections. I resonate with your selection approach. 🙏
Thank you, glad to hear it has been inspirational.

Nice, would love to try some of that. I would look there periodically, but never was able to order because of not being to use card for payment. I had a couple of Lao selections and some Afghani or something i was wanting to order

Looks like ive been having a micronutrient deficiency, saw some yellowing of leaves and started feeding liquid fish, plus top dressing, and some plants got a little N toxicity but now that it has been a few weeks and seeing the intervienal chlorosis now that the leafs have faded more i fed everything a little micros mixed in water.

Acapulco gold starting to fill in, and looks like it is going to be resinous

Ethiopian

Both resinous from the beginning, the shorter one looke to be a little more so, and it is more fragrant, i can smell something when it gets rustled a little.

Mango biche is looking like it is going to be big resinous spears, nice scents coming from it, really hoping to get a few dozen MB x Honduras reversed seeds out the deal.

Ive been thinking there was a hermie in the tent, and discovered some nanners on the big Ethiopian, so i took a couple of the yellow ones and put as much of the pollen on the smaller Ethiopian. I havent seen any other mature nanners on other plants, and some Ethiopian hybrids with everything else is fine with me.

I started looking over the Panama Red x Nangarhar Afghani and saw a few huge green nanners, looked it over and saw more, so its coming out. Its a shame looking at it and smelling it, so i may have to finish it under a light, big thick buds on it, nice resin forming too.

I already removed the other Panama red hybrid a few days ago, really didn't like the way its looking plus the needed airflow to keep temps down.

While I'm okay with leaving the Ethiopian, I'm not with the Panama Red hybrid. Since the Pan reds are out, 79 Christmas bud is in and its going to have to do some stretching before i attempt to trim underneath. This one has been vegging for quite a while now. Hopefully ill have a few late Ethiopian nanners hanging around when this one is flowering in a few weeks, so 79 Christmas x Ethiopian hybrids may be back on the table!

The Thai's

These two are the remaining Ace Thai that were in veg, placed in flower last week, and the top has been pinched out of one of them.

Double chocolate thai looking very nice, loving the structure of this one.

Ace Thai is looking good as well, more upright growing than the chocolate thai.

Up next, trying to decide the amounts of each and when to do what. I'm wanting to do a Haze grow using Dr Doom, Rainbow Dragons Fire, Oldtimer's Haze, and Thai A5 Haze.
I'm thinking ill start Honduras Panama first though, and probably one or two each Blueberry Muffin and Lil Red Riding hood.
20230409_083706.jpg

4 Jack the rippers, two of which are Trifoliates, first time having one of those, and the top 3 left to right are Super Panama Haze and the other 4 seedlings are Zenith.

Headband x TK x Honduras getting close to finishing, and i have been very pleased so far at the results of this cross, both smell wonderfully different, are loaded with resin, dense buds, decent finishing time, I'm ready to find out how the effects will be.

I planted a 1 inch wisteria plug in a 6 inch pot, overnight i decided to go ahead and plant it in the ground, i was amazed to see that within 14 hours it had grown roots this much.

Loving this grow. Great selections. Rainbow Dragon's Fire sounds like a riot. And that Headband / Honduras hybrid is beautiful. Looking forward to the smoke reports.

Hope the lights work out for you - I've been using Spiderfarmer 1000's for my last 3 grows and they rock. Not a single issue with them.
