most potent strain you've smoked?

afghan - Most sleepy
Island Sweet Skunk (Federation) - Most head sweats

All strains have varying effects that effect people differently based on body chemistry. But, above are the ones that stood out to me with characteristics that most people associate with being "potent."

Smoked something called Sheba (not Shiva) back in the 70’s, the buds were almost black. A one hit wonder and a couple of hits sent you off somewhere for hours. There was a Monkey Paw floating around then too, supposedly bulk Thai still on the stem. The buds looked like little paws. And of course there was Redbud, Stick, and some Oaxacans that were up there too.

I think some of the strongest was from a friend that had a collection of exotics. Who knew what they were, he moved a lot of bud and always kept samples of some of the best. I saw seasoned smokers curl up in a ball in the corner and cry after a couple hits.

I remember the Sheba ... sometimes called Black Sheba. Used to roll the tiniests of pin joints and it would get 6 teenaged boys in a car stoned to the bone.

I go through favorite strains like toilet paper but in the last few years the most enjoyable strains for me have been:

Golden Goat x PCK (Root Seller) - Nice uppity high, great tasting smoke but can set me on the couch if I smoke too much.
Star Killer (Rare Dankness) - Wonderful hashy/OG taste, solid hybrid that's just fun to smoke.
Thai landrace (forget where I got this from) - Nice orange taste, racey sativa high

Coincidentally those are the only moms I currently have but focusing more on growing my own strains these days which is quite a bit of a fun mystery.

I have been accused of lacing it many times, a great compliment indeed..

the 'best' shit we have had in the last 15+years was some jock horror from a one dollar seed from nirvana... as u say above, numerous people thought it was 'laced'... unfort. we didn't take a clipping of it, and have gone thru 2-3packs of jock, never found anything nearly as potent...

box of chocolates diamond in the rough.. I also suck at slot machines and my buddy wins every time.. Not to take away, as the breeding process has evolved 1000x's in the last 15 years. Consistency is so much better as witnessed from the above quotes and pics along with knowledge obtained. Thanks to the above guys who took the time and effort to evolve our beloved plant as the lazy guys like me benefit from there works. Once in a great while a golden child is birthed by poor parents just as in human kind. Its just fate that decides whether this offsprings talents are realized or fall to normalcy like me and most of the rest of the world..

Talk about synchronicity, you should have sprouted more stuff on that fateful day! It's interesting that the Blueberry was the male in that cross, generally it seems the more Indica strain does better as the 'base' and Sativas as the pollen donor. Do you have any pics of the Nebula x Blueberry? Would love to see the structure of the plant.

Sorry but no pictures from me. I promised my wife, who has a habit of worrying more than is useful, that I never would as part of her letting me become a caregiver. It helps her to sleep at night. Even though I'm a legal caregiver, the politics of cannabis in my area are ugly.

The nebula x blueberry is one of the tightest bushes I've ever grown.
Too dense, so much so that it needs lots of trimming so it doesn't become one mass of buds.
The only other plant I've seen that grows similarly is a wonderberry someone gifted me a year or so ago.
Both just want to be dense little bushes, but worth the extra effort in the end.

As a 17 year old hippie teenager in '71, I was hitchhiking thru rural Maine and an older hippie guy (25 or 26?) picked us up in an old VW microbus...
He had some weed that we smoked that was amazing!...
He drove us for a couple hours and told us how he had gone to Mexico the previous Autumn, and had bought 50 lbs of Acapulco Gold. He told us how he had brought it back to the US by building a camper on an old trailer, and used the bricks as insulation in the walls and roof of the camper...
The weed was maybe some of the finest weed I ever smoked in my life...

And then there's the Nepal I collected while traveling. Plant growing on Annapurna, anyway I don't grow the pure anymore it's too much for me

You mean, too much even if you take one hit, or too much if you smoke a whole joint ?

I'm a lightweight, I tend to just take one hit.
