I smoked at the Space Needle the day that recreational smoking become legal. Also the place and time that I met my wife.

How much would a glass of wine cost under them gazebos ?

If I remember right, a very decent price, cheaper than any normal Westminster wine bar, pretty sure the bars there are subsidised, there used to be a fair few heavy drinkers thereeverything from red nosed Lords to 16 pint a night Union sponsored Labour MP's from coal mining constituencies.

I also committed other unspeakable acts while there and finished by sneaking into the House of Lords chamber and borrowing a souvenir. It is a very old building, the security is a hard ring outside, not so much inside. Pretty sure i failed to plant the seeds I had, cannot remember why.

While I was on the terrace some tourist pleasure boat came a bit too close and a Police tug boat/launch thing shot out of nowhere and just swamped this other boat out of the way with its wake, an amazing sight enhanced by fine ganja.

He , he , 16 pints , bet you there's been some funny conversations between the Red nose table and the sponsored one , lol . The boat was prob. on stand by during opening hours . 'One must have some privacy in this establishment' lol

Yes, it is an experience there, it is a very old building, and beside the river, so quite musty in places. I did not really see any of the Parlimentary action there, no Lords or MPs around iirc, it was middle of the day visit for a party a friend had blagged me in on.

The Police boat was clearly on anti terrorist duty and is lurking nearby 24/7 I have never seen such impressive boatmanship ever

So far, I've only blazed at one of Frank Gehry's surreal buildings, this one is located at Bard College which is only a few miles from the house where I grew up as a kid. This was constructed about 15 years ago, and when I go back for visits I always take a drive and catch a buzz on the building grounds.

I will always, if I am somewhat close, search out one of Frank's creations... just looking at his buildings pre-buzz make you feel like you've taken a trip through the looking glass... add some weed and it's really a nice place to be.

Here's a link with some more of his incredible architecture:
