I promise you have made the cause to be with her again and again, lifetime after lifetime. Your love is her happiness, and she is bathed in it now. The cycle begins anew. She will attain Buddhahood just as you shall. She was so fortunate to give birth to such an incredible daughter, and you have repaid your debt of gratitude in the most profound manner possible. Have faith and now take the time to take care of yourself. The pain that seems it will never go away, will go away. Make her proud of the way you keep on living! Nam-myoho-renge-kyo to you, our dear Ms.G! Your mother shall now be in my daily prayer for the rest of my life.
I was so sorry to hear of the news of your Mother's passing, Mrs. Grat3ful. Anita Bonghitt told me just today. I have lost both of my parents and fully understand what you must be feeling. Nothing can ever prepare you for such a loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
Here is a little poem that I found that seems appropriate. I never knew your Mother but, from what you've written about her here, I think this just might be what she would say to you if given the chance.
To my dearest Daughter-
I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still - in each new dawn
I'm sorry for your loss but you can take comfort from the fact that your Mother lives on in you and the rest of the people that loved her. May time grant you Peace.
