Ive got 2 stinky whites in the tub with that purple and another tub ready to breed F3s (more purple potential)!

Im amazed at how the jem's purple bursts in later stages, even in crosses. first purple id seen was my jem/ak cross. has me excited to purp/auto some loved strains. just have fun and smoke. and watch grow.

i will post a pic of the dadddy in these F2 jems.. saw soem purp in him. and im not sure how frequent males show color.. thought it was cool

Man, you are so right.....everyone wants dat purp in my neck of the woods too! PERIOD!!!! and 80 bucks an 8th is about right for em'!!!! all others are $60 an 8th
Now as far as what you said; "at how the jem's purple bursts in later stages, even in crosses." <was that always, even @ F1??? as you know I have a cross going myself....and they are coming to an end soon...but yet to see any color...

I thought because it was crossed that I wouldn't see any color till F3?? At least that's what our breeder friend said....BUT them bitches smell fruity as fuck!!! and are getting fatter!!!

I think that F3 is about right for the colour to come out but there is always diff phenotypes that will show colour even at F1. When I get off with an F1 cross of any sort I will plant 10-20 at a time, Thats when you can single out pheno's of your taste.

When I get off with an F1 cross of any sort I will plant 10-20 at a time, Thats when you can single out pheno's of your taste.

I have a new love... Bad Betty, it is 3'1/2 tall at 58 days old and the others are just pushing out nodes but I think the finish time will be around 100 days.
Alf #3 are little big bitches, For such small root masses the frame of these plants is huge. ICU#2 have been all micropheno males so far but there is 8 left.
Bad betty had a branch broken off so I puffed her bud and it lit me up! Let me tell u guys that there is no rudy to be found in her...

Thought I would toss in my 2 PJ grows as a contribution to the thread. Lighting cause the leaves appear more yellow than they really are in the picture. The perlite hempy bucket is 13" tall (top of soil to top of plant) at day 49 and the DWC plant is 19" tall (top of bucket to top of plant) at 43 days. Both were started under CFLs, then moved to a 150w HPS once sex was determined. Running the light cycle at 20/4 as well.

As you can see the DWC plant is much bigger than the older plant, which I assume is due to better growing in the DWC. I used the same exact nute dosages (Botanicare nutes) for both plants. This is only my second round of plants (first one I managed to get all males out of feminized seeds....), so I am happy so far. Still tweaking my grow process, but at this point seems to be successful. Aiming to harvest at 60 days for each.

P.S., kinda disappointed in the hempy bucket PJ. Buds just dont seem to be fattening up much. The DWC even at a week behind has fatter buds. I might push the harvest of the hempy out to 65 days. I am also adding a tsp of molasses per gallon to the nutes for both plants.

I have found every other PJ to have heavy sativa dominance hence the long airy buds. I have not a clue of the release of bad betty but that is the best strain I have smoked photo or auto!

Tossed out a PJ bean bouta month ago cause I thought it was to wet to pop. Low and behold a beautiful purple female growing on the bank so now she is purpling it up in me grow room!

So big and branchy, From now on Spanish strains for me please... I would love to be allowed to brag on the breeder(but I'll keep that on the DL) ALF #3 is also a big producer and out of 5 strains I have noticed Afghani traits in all of them... I guess Afghani is the way to go when crossing with autos cause its very very photo sensitive. I think my Pure A. Kush started flowering at like 16 hours of light!!!
Soon I will be back on track(A move broke 14 females!!) I had a huge pile of furniture fall on 13-14 big females and killed all but 2... Please ganja gods/godess send me some green luck/love I have had so many set backs, I was at f2 with my RRF x Mif beans when the mother was killed. So now I am back to closet growing and I can only fit 12-14 buckets so I will be growing only heavy yielders to make up for losses...

I have a female ALF #3 that started showing sex at the 6th node, I noticed this with the first 2 ALF's that I grew out. This is what causes the ALF to be a longer finisher compared to the other AutoFlowering strains that I have.
I have a Himalayan Blue Diesel growing beside the ALF #3 that is showing sex at the 4th node and is small compared to the ALF. I have also found a JEM pheno that flowers at the 6th-7th node, I think that this trait will make for some heavy yielding crosses...
Has anybody else found a strain that flowers at nodes other than the 4th???
I am not for curtain but I think that the ALF #3 is in the JEM line so I am going to try and find an Afghani dominant ALF pheno to play with...

I wanted to put a few close up pics of some Russian Rocket Fuel bud. The smell is so strong especially after curing in mason jars, Diesel is very present and there is a fruity hint to it.
The buzz is really strong cerebral high, Munchies set in an hour or to into it.
I love the "SS" genetics, Himalayan Blue Diesel and Russian Rocket Fuel are by far some of the best but I have been growing some really good Spanish genetics that I believe top all

Have a Bad Betty starting its 3rd node, This strain always grows a little slower then other autos. The Bad Betty girls that I have grown have started showing sex at the 6th Node which makes them grow bigger and about 20-30 days longer then other autos.
The oldest ALF #3 is 24 days old and showed female at the 6th node, I had an ALF female in a 6" pot that grew way bigger than any other plant I've grown in 6" pots. Either these strains have been breed to show sex later or the beans I have are a few steps from being stabilized.
I have 2 HBD's growing 1 is a 25 day old female that showed sex at the 4th node and the other is a 5 day old sprout. I grow my HBD in 10" 3 gallon containers, The plants get huge in these pots.
Some of the bigger phenotypes that have shown up in the JEM have shown at the 5th node, The later flowering and vivid color are why I love to use the big pheno males as breeding plants.

I had to order a replacement 400 watt HPS bulb for my system, I had to send 5 plants to my friends house so he can take care of them under his 150 watt HPS because I can only handle 7 plants at the moment while I wait on my bulb to be delivered.
I am thinking about buying a HPS/MH conversion bulb for veging my Master Kush that I am going to do for my first Indoor Photoperiod strain grow. I am also going to order 5 10 packs of reg seeds for $17.71 a pack, There are good things all over the net about the breeder but I need to do some more checking cause the prices are rediculously low.

One of the strains I am looking at is KC-33, I am really interested in these genetics because if the marijuana is good then I have found a new seed brand to buy.

Wow great price! Been looking for inexpensive beans like that to run in my new room. Hate to run my expensive beans just to find out I forgot about something during the build. Much rather either run bagseed or cheap seeds. Unfortunately with all the rooms I've set up over the past year, I've run out of bagseed.

Would love to know where you got seeds for that price!

Pic 1 & 2 is a bushy ALF #3 - Pic 3 is a micropheno ALF #3 - Pic 4 is a JEM...

I have been giving the tall bushy pheno ALF #3 full strength nutes for 2 weeks now and it still isn't showing sign of burning. The nutes are Fox Farms Grow Big, Tiger Bloom & Big Bloom, I am going to back off with the Grow Big in 8 days then I will cut the Tiger bloom back to 1/2 strength in 12 days.

The little ALF #3 is just getting 1/4 strength, not because it can't take any more but because I don't want to waste nutes...
The JEM in the last pic is going to be mostly seed plant, I have around 50 JEM beans and want more luckily both the female and male are purple dominant. I hit her with pollin around Oct 31 then Nov 10 then again yesterday to make sure she produces as many seeds as she can.
