Good job and nice save!
I have always been happy with the vigor of ace seeds, grows like weeds
I think they breed with science and bit of art and magic.

Hi All,

Both the girls are doing well and growing like weeds

The Golden Tiger is still far outpacing the Panama (but the Panama did get smashed flat). They are both getting exact same nutes, light, and the rest. In the next few days I am going to transplant both, and move them out of the veg tent, so they can start producing nice clones for the flower tent :)

I am a little worried about the indica looking leaves, but it should still work out.

Later :tiphat:
Your plants look great my friend, glad to know the Pan survived the light accident.
You will find that a lot of pure sativa have wider leaves than what you were expecting for a sativa, but they later fall off and the mature leaves will be the narrow leaves you expected. Ace is very transparent about their work and seed sources. I've grown a lot of Ace strains/hybrids and personally have zero doubts about their genetics. So please don't be worried. Welcome to the Ace community by the way. I pray for a bountiful harvest!
Peace, God bless

Checked in on little miss Panama, and she was holding her leaves up. This is a good sign because if damage too bad she would be wilting. I gave her a little mist, so she will feel loved. Maybe I got lucky this time :) Still a dumbass move...never ever put lights and such where they can fall on plants because soon or later they will ;)

Words of wisdom. Always have a fail safe for suspended lights. I had a slip up while adjusting the height on a searingly hot 600 HPS. My maternal instinct kicked in as it fell and without thinking about it I caught it by the bare bulb on the back of my arm. I can still see a faint scar from it to this very day.

I suppose on the bright side it didn't smash my babies.

I don't know how new you are to growing IBL sativas but if this is your first time then be ready for their vigor and stretch. Also, they can be a bit finicky about over feeding and PH fluctuation, although not so much with the Panama which in my experience is quite hungry and tolerant of abuse. GT has Thai in it which I have always found to be quite finicky and super stretchy.

Don't sweat the relatively wide leaves. Ace Panama just grows like that, particularly the red pheno.

Well P Red and G Tiger are in their new home in 7 gal. fab pots with my special soil mix. I think I found P Red's slight growth issue, which was a huge chunk of dry coco in her poor root ball--amazed how coco can repel water if gets too dry. Anyway, I will let them rest for a few days, and then I will start some very aggressive training :dance013:
They are now living on natural sunlight with LED lights to keep day and night right. I do have a concern about G Tiger, and if I can keep her under control for very long, or am I going to have to keep re-cloning her every few months...LOL!

btw...for those of you who don't know the girls by sight, P Red is on the left :tiphat:

Looking good. I have very limited space for my keepers and cloning them every few months is the only way I've found to keep their size under control long term. It works quite well, just be sure to make back ups because eventually you will get unlucky and a clone won't take or the light will fall on it or the dog will eat it etc. Given enough time something will eventually cause a hiccup and its a huge relief to have a backup plan then.
