Not to mention it's not even half way threw flower.
So I got alot to look forward to smell and taste wise when it comes to this strain.
It's a beutiful plant in everyway. I don't think there is any S1's in it either.
Seems like a OG Kush(who knows which one) x Sour D (from rez) Because it is stable! Feeds alot too. There are so many OG's besides SFV and the original and it soesn't look like either of those.
Because it is less stretchy then Sour D so it can't be SFV OG in it. lol(stretchiest Kush around) I know nothing about abusive but I do know some breeding as been done with the Triple OG because it yields huge and looks alot more like the Diesel Kush. Shorter stockier sour D with less of a chemdawg plant structure and more of the Triple OG/ SD plant structure. But this is purely spectulation.
I'll know way more once I smoke it.
But know this THCV, I'm loving it!

Incase anyone was wondering.
I germed a few Mustang Mists to see how the germ rate was looking.
So far 4 out of 5 started to open up and germ in 24 hours.
So I think I did it right. lol

One of the best "Mostly indica strain" around. IMO.
The taste is insane and the high reminds you of when you first started smoking pot and giggling with your friends about nothing for a few hours.

So the blackberry bubba has a quite unique scent for a purple strain... usually purples always have that generic purple smell. The blackberry bubba is very stinky, foremost the smell is a contrasting mixture of sweet blackberry jam with the incencse undertone of bubba kush. When squeezed you can also smell undertones of coffee and the deep kush musky dankness. During flower my blackberry bubba is more sweet blackberry with the bubba more in the foreground... during curing the bubba aspect of the flavor greater expresses itself. Has a great flavor, a mixture of blackberry jam and bubba on the back of the pallate... to be honest I think bubba tastes better by itself, but it is the best purple flavor I've experienced so far. The Bannana O.G is actually as tasty as the blackbery bubba, but I think the Blackberry bubba is just more unique IMO. Orgnkid's Sour Kush has the best flavor of all his kush hybrids hands down...

Ognkid did make some good stuff. "The Sour" and "Banana Kush" are his best IMHO. I know he doesn't like to give up his secrets but Banana Kush was made with with nothing but OG, Bubba, & Banano. It's [OG X Bubba] X [OG X Banano].
I've still got seeds of the Banana Kush left from Ognkid and that's how the seed pack is marked.
JDog, you're doing a nice job with that SFV cut. The lemon pine-sol fuel smell should be getting strong by now. Enjoy it.

To answer your question, orgnkid's sour kush AKA sour O.G is NYCD x O.G not Sour D x O.G. Most people get it confused b/c the name is a bit misleading. If your Diesal Kush is the orgnkid Diesal Kush than its also NYCD x O.G b/c both the diesal kush and sour kush are sister phenos from the same cross. BTW my sour kush turns purple with cold night temps as well... if you got your cut from the same people who got you your other orgnkid cuts than I bet you probably got his version

yeah thats another that i left out! his nysd x og is bomb to! now i hear people saying it was nycd x og not sour d x og & so i asked & he said it was not soma nycd like people were saying,he said he was pissed about soma nycd ,he said he ran near 100 & most all hermi on him,he said it was sour diesel from NY? i will hit him up & ask again on these..either alot of people are really confused or he was messin with someone..i was at his house talking to him for 2 days about this shit & believe me we went in depth on lineage on all of those..i have all the original clones as well as the s1's of every kind to..i ran the clones & s1 right together,the s1's are just as good as the cuts on some but there some that are not as good,but i found a killer pheno or 2 in every s1 of his...i think the nysd x og is great to..it has a crazy taste to it..well guess it taste like og crossed to sour d,i can taste the og larry & sour d in it..i wanna be sure so i'll bug him again..i guess it dont really matter its just good kush is all that matters..peace

yes!...Damn we all love this stuff in my neck of the woods. I have one lone seed that came up for me a couple of yrs. ago. real skunky in veg..flowers nice I used to decribe the smell as a piney/menthol with slight berry/skunky undetones...the more I think about it, skunk berry pinesol smell will work!

For the last 5 years Sour kush has always been soma's NYCD x O.G on the forums. Also I happen to know three seperate groups of folks whom got their Sour K cut directly from Orgnkid, Weedzilla, tha docta and CALM, and each of these folks were told it was a NYCD x O.G cross by the man himself. Orgnkid said he had selected his sour k, diesal K and purple k from 50 females of the NYCD x O.G

Also I think your confused about the very berry surprise S1's as they were not blackberry bubba S1's, but actually S1's of Memy's Blackberry... no kush in those genetics. Those pics above of the very berry surprise look nothing at all like the blackberry bubba clone, sorry scrappy. I never knew orgnkid released any seeds of the sour kush BTW, were they a private release? And they were bomb? I'd like to use orgnkid's sour kush cut in a few crosses myself, I think it will be a good outcrosser to stabilize my O.G cuts

I'll have a much better idea of the lineage of mine once it's done and I smoke it.
I didn't get it from the same source as my other O-kid clones, so it could be anyone of those diesel kush's.I was told it's OG x SD though. So far it smells like OG x SD.
But it's too soon to know, really.
