Whats up dude. The cut that I have may or may not be the same as the cut that's currently making the rounds. I got a hold of my Pure Kush cut in So Cal a few years go, before the current PK cut hit the boards. Appearence wise they are identical.
However the thing I find odd is that board cut of Pure Kush supposedly has a fruity scent... in my own experience, as well as tha docta's and suge's own descriptions, Pure Kush does not possess a fruity scent. Personally I find that my PK cut smells/looks/tastes like Bubba Kush but with more heavily pronounced incenscence undertones and none of the sweetness found in bubba.

It smells like pungent fruity incense kush.
The fruit part of it is super pungent though.
Not like your typical fruity note.
But the incense kush part is identical to a Bubba type smell.
It's like my lemony Bubba with an added fruity pungency.

Puss Kush aka LAPK and Suges PK I dont believe are the same...
Btw, tastes with that clone can seriously vary with rooms/styles and harvest times. I never picked up 'fruity' until people started saying that, but some batches are a lil zesty! Sometimes its fruity 4 me, lemony maaaybe.... but that smell/taste just isnt a fruit one to my pallet! Alot of folks do pickup fruity... to me its more/different than that!

in peoples experience, which kush hybrids get the best yields? i konw master can be very good, but mostly i hear about small yields. anyone know which ones break this trend?
IMO - my SR-71 purple kush (heavily LST'ed - 1 month veg) dosnt seem that bad in terms of yield, or at least not as bad as people say it is.

Katsu Bubba can yield very well. People love the taste too, and if they never smoked the other Bubba.
This one is super potent indica. The other Bubba I have is stronger though.
It seems Bubba flavors can change depending on how it's fed.
My katsu had a little bit of a lemony fuel thing going on this time.
Not as much as my other Bubba.
But still more then ever before.

here's some Katsu Bubba nugs. I've been getting some good yields from her. Pulled about 1 1/2 oz. from a small plant in this last run. Nice spicy kushy smell, bit of the fruity pebbles. I'm addicted to the flavor and the high.
Right on Jdog your kush's always look stunning, Grown to perfection with some good camera skills to get that perfect shot. mmm

JDOG, your pure kush looks like a mix of purple kush and og kush. looks like a plant i should grow one day. to bad its extremely hard to find reliable clones of the pure around sf bay.
