Good Cannabis only lasts between 1-3 hours (for me).. and i have "Never ever" Hallucinated from cannabis "ever". I couldnt even hallucinate on ACID... two drops under the tongue and felt nada. The "ONLY" time i ever hallucinated was when i ate a hamburger from Wendy's and i got E.coli poisoning.. Soooo... Fuck these jackass fuckwads who where prolly paid by the feds to do a study in the first place.. AND another obvious "Duh" is: they say smoking pot distorts your view of reality. Hahaha,, well, yeah it does, Makes this whole rat race go a little slower, so we can jump off and get out of the rat race. I have done a little study myself on pot vs. booze. The pot people where somewhat lazier but more accurate.. The boozers where more active but had more in-accuracies. I work in a place where we count "things" and must have a 99.90% accuracy rating. I have worked there for 5 years and have never fell below a 99.98% rating. So; i guess i am asking is it possible to have a high accuracy for 1825 days while Hallucinating? hahahahah.. I answer phones, take notes, count, etc. do all the daily tasks it takes to keep a major fortune 500 company running (from my end of my duties).. /sigh And i'm not the only person smoking pot in the building (that i know of). So.. Where is the problem lie with cannabis?.. As far as i can tell, it looks like Biff the school bully is picking on the poor retarded kid again.. When, will someone come along and beat the shit out of this fucking bully? WHEN??? People see this injustice and pass on by.. Would you honestly just walk by while some handicapped person is getting beaten and mugged? Pot may hike risk of psychosis, study suggests even limited use could up chance of serious mental illness by 40 percent.

The words "may" and "could" are not words you use in a statement trying to prove facts.

Using marijuana seems to increase the chance of becoming psychotic, researchers report in an analysis of past research that reignites the issue of whether pot is dangerous.

No NEW research was done, this was all based on old, and as we all know, flawed data and reports.

The research, paid for by the British Health Department, is being published Friday in the medical journal The Lancet.

When you pay for research, 9 times out of 10 your going to get the results you wanted, not the truth.

“The available evidence now suggests that cannabis is not as harmless as many people think,” said Dr. Stanley Zammit, one of the study’s authors and a lecturer in the department of psychological medicine at Cardiff University.

Google up this Dr. Stanley Zammit and you'll find that most people in his profession consider him discredited.

The researchers said they couldn’t prove that marijuana use itself increases the risk of psychosis, a category of several disorders with schizophrenia being the most commonly known.

Ok, if you couldn't prove it, WHY ARE YOU REPORTING IT AS A FACT?

They looked for psychotic illnesses as well as cognitive disorders including delusions and hallucinations, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, neuroses and suicidal tendencies.

They found that people who used marijuana had roughly a 40 percent higher chance of developing a psychotic disorder later in life. The overall risk remains very low.

This doesn't prove a damn thing. You could replace the word "marijuana" in those last two statements with a multitude of substances.

For example, Zammit said the risk of developing schizophrenia for most people is less than 1 percent. The prevalence of schizophrenia is believed to be about five in 1,000 people. But because of the drug’s wide popularity, the researchers estimate that about 800 new cases of psychosis could be prevented by reducing marijuana use.

WTF? These numbers don't even fucking add up! Talk about pulling numbers out of your ass.

Scientists cannot rule out that pre-existing conditions could have led to both marijuana use and later psychoses, he added.

Really? So that means this research proves what? NOTHING?


Ok, folks, now we come to the REAL MEAT of this article...

Two of the authors of the study were invited experts on the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs Cannabis Review in 2005. Several authors reported being paid to attend drug company-sponsored meetings related to marijuana, and one received consulting fees from companies that make anti-psychotic medications.

AH HA! A financial interest in companies that market anti-psychotic.

Guess what, the BHD just bought itself a nice commercial for Big Pharma on the British Taxpayers dime.
