I really dug this show, but they really stretched it out and jumbled up the footage. It seemed like I saw some of the same footage / clips 10+ times. It got to the point of being kinda ridiculous.
i dunno man, just because they did shit some way 200 years ago dont mean i the year 2012 they found a better way to do things
regarding 'some' artisan qualities.... hmm. water, wood. thats it. take white ash, turn it into char, add to your whisky and it will taste like its been aged for years. magic? no, its chemistry.
so yeah it aint like dude made special liquor. the rednecks drink this shit to get fucked up, not to savor its essence.
teah man
If this was the case then why are people lined up and willing to pay $50-100+ per gallon for it and smuggle it across states when they could just go buy some cheap shit off the shelf of their local liquor store.
Bringing the topic back because i wanted to showoff my new 13 Gallon Hybrid Still!! The construction is ridiculously nice, I feel like im working with a piece of art!
The 2 1/2 Gallon still I had did GREAT!! But, need more product and this new rig should produce around 25% more alcohol, in the 150-170 proof range...
