The recipe calls for POM to be added to your mix, but the FoxFarm web site says you could top dress with POM.

good luck:tiphat:
I sen in another thread where beetlejuicy asked about his mix witch is sililar to MSM and Burn1 told him to add a couple spoons of lime. I asked burmn to chime in so well see. As for the fruit and flower If you look on the box it will tell you. I just sprinkle very lil around the whole pot and blend it in with my fingers or a fork and then water. I only did this with one of my sssdh and it looks a lil better compared to the other. mysta :joint:

Has anyone tried to use this mix with a passive hydro system? It seems like it would be perfect...I didn't like the idea of top feeding the plants in a system like that but with this moonshine mix, it doesn't seem like you would really have to, maybe a boost once or twice.\\
And as far as str8 water, what about adding some supps, like liquid karma, humic acid, worm casting tea....would this encourage a healthier microheard or is this overkill?

Thanks dude! will post up the results of the top dress compared w/ mixed in the fall.

@joeking - if youve already got the lk and or myco why not use it? try it on 1/2 your plants and compare and let the rest of us know whats up. someone was talking about conditioning their mix with lk a few pages back

Liquid Karma should always be used if you can afford it. If you're going to use one supplement in veg, that's the one. There's not even a need for a side-by-side, the difference is considerable.

For those interested in keeping things organic, stay off the Karma

There's an omri equivalent called "synergy" I believe.. I've never used it but I've heard good things..Might give it a whirl one day but I really like the results karma gives me especially during early vegetative growth.

So heres my first stab at a moonshine mix as well as a scrog.
Strains are california skunk, Carnival, and barneys farm Blue Cheese.
10 gal containers, with screen attached to them, under a 600watt supersun2.

9 days into flowering, they have received nothing but phed water up until recently when they got their first dose of molasses with the phed water.

Do you plan on using budswell, It will increase your yield with this mix ..

I've had poor results with some of the FF soil myself ... fungus gnats and instability with the MSM.

I understand it is very strain dependent as well but this soil is not the "magic bullet" some think it is.

It works ... but you need to watch out for Nitrogen DEFs and nitrogen lockout from high phosphorous too. I've had way too many yellowed fan leaves fall off in this mix that is supposed to be "turn key" autopilot.
