No such thing. Federal law enforcement agencies follow orders just as strictly as the military. The Chief Executive, aka, President of The United States, dictates the policies from his desk to the agency directors, and bureau heads.

delegates is more appropriate

the only dictate is dea laying off according to state or local jurisdiction.

either way the liability lies where the buck stops - at the top with the person who hires the leaders who set the polices of the agencies in accordance with the wishes and approval of the President.
No new rule accepting deference to states. Break state law, all bets are off.

Willfully absolving the the President of the actions of the Law Enforcement Agencies under his Executive command is naive.
Any other examples of law, rules or anything new? DEA busts with no details given isn't very informative unless you're hoping they evaporate which isn't likely.

I agree Captain Chronizl, [if] this is an example of illegal growing and distributing.... according to MT law. Gives growers and distributors working within their jurisdictions a bad name.

I think the hazmat suits are ridiculous. Oxygen not so much. Might be CO2 or pesticide related, we'll likely never know unless the details are revealed.
