Monster Bean List to Choose From - Need Advice

Hi folks....


I have recently been offered my choice of beans from a very wonderful collection, which I will be using in some breeding experiments.

I wanted to get some opinions and advice from a wide group on what to choose, as I am not a strain expert.....

Keep in mind I will be crossing whatever I get with a very very early finishing private outdoor strain developed by a buddy, with the object being to improve yield, resin content and flavour whilst retaining as much of the early finishing qualities of the private strain as possible. The only stone quality I want to avoid is heavy heavy couchlock...

I am being offered 5 to 8 different strains, 6 to 10 seeds of each......and am leaning towards stable single strain seeds as opposed to fresh crosses. There may be more to the collection, but that is the list as I have it now.

Impressive list to choose from... you're very lucky!

Oh, I know I am lucky......in more than one way.

One is that list I get to choose from, the other is the private strain I am crossing things with.

A buddy developed it over the last 15 years.....while not super strong (hence my breeding project), it is the fastest finishing outdoor strain I have ever heard of, and it is NOT an autoflowerer. Clones super easy too.

My buddy grows at 44 lat here in Canukistan, and he can direct seed outside June 1st, and finishes with mature seeds and 5-6 foot plants by Aug 14-20.

Direct seeding on June 21 finishes before Labour Day.....

Hee hee hee!!!!

If its what I think it is the ghanaian skunk is a pure landrace.

I'd go with the:

Those would be my choices. That Genius x Durban Thai sounds incredible. I would love to try that cross. And a Jack Herer x Sensi Star cross could be something special.

Some of those seeds come from PG people... I'd hate to see you really get your panties bunched up from popping them. Select carefully or your world will end.

I'm just giving you a warning because you think the people @ PG are scum of the Earth. Some of those seeds were made by an admin from PG (former). I'd just hate for you to have a heart attack or something from growing something that came from such scum.

In that case... I've heard great things about the Mazar and Uzbek. Molokai Frost is some good stuff as well, I don't know if I'd call it a land race though and it is a little hermie prone.
