Moldy Hash? How to prevent?

I recently bought some pretty good quality bubble hash (About 1 week ago), I've just been storing it in a plastic bag in an old Tobacco Tub in a dark area. It has been looking good until this morning, when I pulled it out to have a session I noticed a thin-layer of mold, I scraped it off assuming its still safe to smoke.
But how can I store it again so this doesn't happen?

Put it back in the tin with a few grains of dry rice & no plastic baggie , change rice regularly . Sounds like the bud wasn't properly dry when the hash was made .

obviously the bubble was pressed to early (not dried properly), crumble up n let dry out, repress, done or you could store it in the freezer if you like "wet resin"...
