This doesn't look like buildup, but it might be. Either way, no ill effects to the plants. It hasn't spread, and they are doing great!
I'm actually doing a flood and drain set up, no drippers or NFT here. They have moved from 1 x 15min. watering per day to 3 per day as of yesterday. These have really picked up speed and are drinking tons of nute solution.
Fresh air comes in thru an AC return filter, 12x9 in. I think giving me just over 100 sq. in. of intake with a 142 cfm canfan pulling air thru the chamber and out thru ducting to another part of the house.
