Sulphur might not hurt your plants but it's a fungacide if I'm not mistaken and if you're growing organics there are lots of beneficial fungae out there like Mycorrhizae.

Sulphur is used to kill mildew which is also a fungus so it might not be good if you want to encourage Mycorrhizal growth. They speed up nutrient uptake and make the plants more resistant to water stress/drought.
I'm not saying that sulphured molasses will hurt them or anything, just something to consider. (I could be wrong)
