Molasses,how much and when?

Hey guys and gals,
I want to try out some molasses in the last 30 days of flower.can any of you tell me how often I should use and how much?Thanks for the help.

You can safely use molasses from beginning to end in your grow, @ every watering if you wish, at a dose of 1tbsp/gal. Good luck!

I love molasses not only does it increase bud size 20%, it also makes it taste damn good.

i start with molasses at same time i go 12/12. I have in the past watered during entire grow with molasses. I use 2-3 tablespoons to the gallon.

I know there is alot of controversy about carbo load and sweet or just using blackstrap molasses. Actually there was a really good thread on it here reccently. I think it was titled "carbo load or sweet?"


Anyways...
I used HUMBOLDT's Own Gravity about halfway in to flower and sweet throughout the whole grow.

2 Tbsp of Gravity per gallon every water half way through flowering
10ml Sweet per gallon from transplant

Great results... nice heavy, dense buds!

i've used molasses off and on for years. thank you 3LB! i used 1 tbsp per gall per their recommendation. i also stopped using carbo load after reading the 3LBs thread. talk about cheaper! i now buy boxes of 12 bottles of black strap molasses at a time. it lasts a long time.

i stopped using it this grow as i had some odd problems with the last grow and eliminated all but the basics to see where the problem was. fortunately, with some help from some ICers we figured it out.

i also was reading someone's post that if you let the soil get too dry, that the cultures started by the molasses die and you have to start the cycle all over again each watering as opposed to having these cultures live throughout the grow. i was too stoned to know if he thought that this was a bad thing or just not a great thing. after stumbling on this thread this morning, i'll finish off my crop using molasses again. i do like pouring that rich black liquid into the water. you can also take a finger full for yourself. can't do that with AN products!!!!! lol
