I usually dont flower plants before i sees what i have,
and SB are genetics that shows preflowering about 8 week from seed,its normal
since this are afghani.

Ye i know its hard to wait but what we can..
you can use automatic genetics but then you have longer flowering time as autos are 18/6 or 20 /4....but i still love much more photo plants.

So the Sour Bubble do not normally show sex until 2 months of veg? So they will not flower before 8 weeks of grow time?

They will now but you dont have sexually mature plants before they dont show preflowers,

and you try to breed in same moment,its a bit hard quest you put infront yourself
and everything need to be fast as i getting...

but remember this are photo plants so you need to have patience.

In mine grows i keep them in small pots till i found preflowers,than i repoting in bigger
pots and its easier to made all this pollen fuss job then as they are finaly sexually mature for the job.

There are some sativas that can show sex after 35-45 days from sprouting but most
of plants falls between 6-8 weeks from sprouting time they become sexually mature
and that is important if you think to breed.

Ok so I am at 6 weeks now, after 2 more weeks I can start with breeding if they are throwing pistils?

I think since they are 2 week in force flowering that will show this faster,

next time use small pots that you will keep under flouro light or CFL till you
encounter preflowers,than after you know what you have made repoting and flowering.

Allways made polination with sexually mature plants as this will give optimum and best results for those progeny.

I never sees SB to put in flowering with only 4 weeks from seed,
and i am also interested to see what will happend in this run.

Thanks Dog Star! The plants are less than 6 inches from the HID air cooled glass. I am going to super crop the tallest plant, which is sour bubble. It looks like the plants will show sex within the next week or so. I can see they are close.

I will update with pictures this weekend. They will be 7 weeks.

So the 24 hours of darkness did the trick. All of the plants but 1 have shown sex.

Every plant at the same time all showed me sex. 7 females and 1 unknown. The unknown I suspect is male but is being stubborn.

So of course I gave them another drink with some bio bizz as some plants were pale yellow a bit.

And I super cropped every plant but the unknown because its already so damn short. Very indica. I believe its the MK Ultra. I will have to check. I have the containers numbered so no confusion at harvest.

So it looks like I wont be making any seeds as the sour bubble male is not present. All were female. And I have no more sour bubble seeds. But its ok

There is not a bit of extra space in the cab for anymore plants. If the last plant turns out to be a male I think I am going to find a way to mount my carbon filter and fan on the ceiling of the grow cab and give the plants some extra room.

Its going to be one big cab of sweet stinky buds.

I think I still have one Tango Hush female. Yes its from SkunkMunkie. I will take a look at my plants in the next couple days and get a count of plants I have by strain.

I think I have 4 Sour Bubble, 1 GC x SS, 2 Tango Hush and 1 MK Ultra. The GC x SS might be a male, Still waiting to see.

You made good with those supercropping Core,

now when they push those side branches there will be great canopy of evenly leveled
hard buds.

The eighth plant was female. The Green Crack x Sensi Star finally showed herself to me, today. So that makes a cab full of 8 female plants.

Anyway the supercrop went great except the girls are hell bent on growing towards the HID. The stems I broke recovered in like 1-2 days and are growing back towards the light

QUESTION:

Should I supercrop again or let them be? I am trying to see how much longer they will stretch before I supercrop again. They are getting close to the light again but if they are going to stop growing and just put on bud then maybe I wont have to supercrop again?

Hard to say from here..think that about supercropping is your personal
choice that depends mostly on height of your growing space,

for now they are 2.5 weeks in flowering so there will be a bit more stretch but soon they stop with elongation.


There will be some hard rock buds very fast,happy growing Core

I supercrop all the heads that will try to fight them selfs up. Normally I keep going till no more stretch and even canopy

Great job on the canopy dude! Try supercropin again, wont hurt only make it more even.
