The one that i´ve super cropped has a very energizing and clean high and looks just like your Congo. Is it possible that mine is a Congo or a Congo cross?
This one and the mango smelling one are showing new male bananas on the lower branches almost everyday and i´ve gather allready quite a few seeds. What should i expect from those seeds?

Hello paulo,

I dont think is a Congo cross, we havent put this kind of genetics inside our ace mixes, should be a tikal hybrid or zamal x china, more probably tikal hybrid!

I wont use the beans produced by male bananas, they can easily show hermie traits.

Around 12weeks by now...sorry for not being too precise...me, clocks and calendars dont work well together
But if i had the time and did not fear bud rot and other nasties i guess those babz could go on for some more weeks. I think is related with a nice feeding regime and plenty of strenght and sugars yet in the plant, but is just imho
On the main cola of the 1st one to go down i´ve found some bud rot, so now i need to fasten up the process because those babes are to precious to waste. Dont wanna be greedy

Hi guys!
Update on the AceMix front!
Went for the last photo session before chopping the mango one.
Shorty looks like got another two weeks on her, i guess i´ve been giving her too much N and now she needs a bit more time to start using her own sugars and minerals
No harm done, i got plenty of time and she looks all frosty and smelly by now.
The mango from the lower branches is curing by now and tomorrow she comes down
