LOL a Gamera. It works on mice and rats. Thye have to have sensory receptors for that to work tho. I heard extreme cold water works too...

Ding Dong the Mites are dead, the wicked mites are dead......LOL

Yeah. Freedom again. I even told the flourist about his problem and he thanked me and asked me if I wanted another plant. I smiled and kindly refused his offer.

Well I tried out the spray I bought at Walmart for spraying fruiting plants and it is non toxic. It worked fine, I had to spray twice but they are gone no sign of them.

Catnip is great. It helps keep away a lot of bad dudes.
I used to grow it alot, but then moved a few times and forgot about catnip, thanks for the reminder.

about those mites.- the cheapest and Best way to elliminate them is

Get the MOST potent strongest Chili peppers that you can find, (about 5 or 6)
2 cups of water and blend them all up,
Strain the chili/pepper water and spry onto the leaves,
Apply the chili water every couple of days for about a week until the mites are gone.
it works like a charm... Cmpletely organic and does no hatm to the buds or plant.

BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GET THE CHILI SOLUTION INTO YOUR EYES AND WEAR PLASTIC GLOVES OR COVER YOUR HANDS WHEN APPLYING THE CHILI WATER. OTHERWISE IT WILL BURN YOUR HANDS.

This Tip I got from Wernard Positronics seeds.

man those no pest strips are highly toxic. do a search you'll find its bloody dangerous to have those no pest strips anywhere near you for any amount of time. i even read about some child dieing because of sleeping near a no pest strip oin summer camp. so i'd be careful about useing them.

peace out

personally I used to use the no pest strips back in the day when I was involved in herpetology and yes they sure are toxic as hell. I know lots of folks that I even respect use them for mites in their gardens, but look up the active chemicals for yourselves and really tell me if you wanna be smoking or ingesting them via your nuggets.
Lots of folks claim to have destroyed their mites with neem oil or pepper sprays or walmart pesticides, but remember those eggs can stay dormant for 6 months and all those products are good at getting a handle on a mite problem they will not erradicate it forever compleatly. SOme may disagree, but when you have your hands full of resistant mites don;t come crying.
The only thing that I have ever found that compleatly and utterly destroys mites is FloramiteSC. Avid is also a fine pesticide, however avid is harsh on plants and will not kill the mite eggs. FloramiteSC has an active ovacide and is gentle enough that I dunk fresh cuttings in it after recieving them. Make sure to always use a wetting agent, I like indicate myself and use a pheremon hormone like stirrupM to attract the mites and I always do a srpay over the walls floor ceiling doorway etc...

They may be toxic, but they work. I only use one in big grow room with good venting. As long as I take it down when I begin flowering, I will be fine.
