Mist Maker ultrasonic fogger question

G

Guest

I was considering changing my bubble cloner over to a fogger and was wondering how long the ceramic discs last until changing and also would a sigle disc unit be enough for a 8" x 12" rubbermaid container
thanks in advance

dude you may need to consult the dealer.
those are tuff questions to answer without actually owning one. I looked into those but found them too pricey for my budget. im sure others feel the same. plus, you cat do organic in those, which many of us perfer. Peace and luck, TBug

One thing about foggers is that they have a tendency to clog due to salt build up. I've asked about them before and they say to only use shallow containers because the fog stays at the bottom and does provide enough at the top. They said to stay under 6 inches. For size though, a tripple head unit could do about a 10' x 10' area, being that it is under 6 inches high.

wierd...i spent like 3 hours reseaching this kind of thing yesterday (using gardens foggers and what not)

i've tried looking, but i could find anyone growing or cloning with garden foggers....anyone got any links?
i'm not talking about commercial fogger units, like nutramist or whatever its called...just the regular fogger units that you see in a shallow bowl with some pretty lights...has anyone done any growing like this?

so a single head would be enough, 20 bucks on ebay, now about the salt , does rainwater have salt in it? how do you measure salt in water?

PK, using a TDS meter. Rainwater starts off clean but picks up polutants on the way down and would need futher filtering.
Peace
