My Muds also grew at crazy rates compared to the other strains in my closet...I ended up having to cull the 2 female I got because the light would have had to have been like 20"+ above the other starins (250w'er)...I didnt want the rest of the grow to suffer on account of the Muds...Easily grew 18" taller than the others in same amount of time with "maybe" 2 weeks veg :badday:

But I did take some cuts and I have one of each plant just starting 1/2 strength nutes at the moment...VERY fast rooting, and VERY fast growth at only 1/4 strength nuts

RIGHT ON JLP :headbange

I agree with all who argue for a general re-release if the MM genes, limited or otherwise. I was only able to coax a single male out of my five old beans, which I have kept through a series of clones. It is the only male in my garden, and would have been discarded long ago except that it is extremely potent, and I decided that if I ever did make seeds, I would use the male MM.

Mississippi Mud is a mongrel that has a lot of great features, the primary one being it is super potent. MM is sure to benefit those looking for certain characteristics to breed into keeper strains, as the traits of it's many progentors are sure to result in many different phenotypes.

You got that right, TA. I was surprised at MM's power. I crossed it with a Sour Diesel. There's a thread by AriesXX on it here in STRAINS and HYBRIDS.

I'm thinking about what I'm going to grow next. One of the seed packs isn't dated and the other 2 have 9-07 dates stamped on the package. I still have the Mud freebies, and thinking about growing the five seeds out along with 5 seeds from the female bag seeds I have. With any luck I'll get another hermi and have some female pollen to cross with a female Mis Mud.

But 1st I need to work out a plan to clean my cabinet to remove as much loose WW pollen as I can. I'm sure that if I don't, everything else I grow ill become a WW cross.

I was given a 5 pack of these seeds as a freebie from Seedbay. Of the 5 seeds, 2 were dark and nice looking, and the other three were not ripe. 1 seed germinated. Ill see what I get from it. Not sure if I want a male to spread the genes around or a female.
