Hey Sg I wanted to show you the progress on the Dionysus #1. Its so great man. I think this is the best that I have ever grown her and she is really showing it all for me. The smell has that normal Dion grapey/musty smell to her, but with a hint of chocolate.. like hot fudge. first time that I've ever gotten that from her. She continuous to impress me on the regular.
Thanks for all you have done!

I got 3 GQ seeds pulled out of the glass of water and pushed into some moist ProMix. 2 of the GQ based on the seed chart should be female. The third GQ may be female but I couldn't get a good look at the end of it.
I've got a Noctural seed to pop and it was put into moist ProMix and it should be female according to the seed chart.

None of my GQ's seeds looked round at all... I picked the best most uniform caldera, and got a girl....
Hi SeafOur and thanks for directing me to this thread on organics. So here is the question I have. I have been doing compost teas, organic with bat, bird, humix, fulvix, compost and molasses once a week. Mid week I am using Humbolt Organics Amino Acid Chelated Master A & B since it is the only "soup style" of commercially made nutrients that is not using the EDTA process of synthetically chelating the nutrients.
So the question is this. The soil is getting the tea it likes and the beneficials are hopefully happy. I have been told, possibly incorrectly, that the over the counter "soup style" nutrients are hurting the beneficials that I am trying to grow in the soil by using the tea. Can I get your input on this?

Not exactly a "organic" thread specifically... we're showing off very particular plants here, but organic talk isn't persecuted here LOL... I tend to agree that most chemical agents added to the soil will be detrimental to soil life. I dont have experience with that particular brand, but I know that with quality starting materials, your soil should have everything the plant needs available... as opposed to only having what you put on it.... My grow has a lawn however.... I like bugs, and I both buy them online, and bring in random leaf litter from outside.... I personally wouldnt treat my insects so bad as to cover them in chems... again.. dont know about the humboldt..... they say,
the sodium bothers me.... especially long term in a recycled soil.....
just my thoughts
Any sodium build up over time will kill the micro herd that you're trying to encourage. I think it is a losing attempt over time to mix organics with stuff coming out of a bottle. There are a few exceptions. But I'd avoid bottled products if you're going organic.
