minced hash?

Ive seen Hash put through a mincer, first in soft secrets where i think it was Delta 9 crew doing it in Columbia and then on the vice article on arjan and his 'strain hunters' thingy. How common is this now?is it taking place in Morocco?Only this 'Mexi Melt' [as it seems to be called by most, regardless of the strain!] that you will see if you look at the 'Traditional' hash pics thread looks very much like the stuff that comes out the mincer.I guess im asking-how common is this technique now,and any info on mexi melt etc would be welcome,[ie,is it only done with water hash and if so-why?]thanks in advance.

high bro!

as far as as i know, the "mexi melt" how you call it, is a "jardalla" (mixed/non maroccan genetics), got nothing to do with the meat grinder, it's just a very high quality dry sieve with very little plant debris etc. (and other contaminations).

first time ever i saw the meat grinder tingy was by AQUA LAB TECH (got a subforum on here), BUT he explained that once the hasj has been run through it, oxidises much faster, hence wouldnt make sense to prepare hasj for export in this manner me thinks...

If it is a meat grinder you are talking about, the first time I heard of one being used was some german guys in affie land back in the 70's. In Nepal there was a few folks using them to mix the kief powder with oil to make a hash product...

There was a big report (I think) put out by UN regarding cannabis/hash in afghanistan and there was a picture of something pretty similar to a meat grinder that was widely used for hash there.. pretty sure heat was used also.

saw one in a pic from a Pakistani hash reseller.
The farmers sell unpressed hash to traders who press it for resale.
The grinder/ mincer thing could process 1/5 of a hecter a day!
It had a modified funnel so you could pour the hashpowder in,

Cannabis Cup Lecture Series - DNA
DNA Seed Co. gives the straight dope on Mexi-melt hash and their pot production process. (uploaded 2007)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x25jZuktcjk

The Mexi-Melt project started out the dream of one person. Then grew into a big giant mess at the end with everybody wanting a part of it.

A few different seeds were used in the making of the Mexi-Melt.

THSeeds, DJ Short, Sensi Seeds, SOMA Seeds, Serious Seeds, some personal seeds from MILA.
DNA donated some seeds but they never made it to Mexico.

DNA were given some old photos to use in there Cannabis Cup lecture and article in Soft Secrets in 2007.

Aqua Lab Technologies and The Grey Area entered the Mexi-Melt into the Cannabis Cup with the help of DNA.
