I agree with DJ on this one,for two reasons.
1) Drugs are drugs are drugs!!!! Have you ever seen a liquor store go out of bussiness!I haven't.What about cigarrette companies? Not likely,Regardless of what kind of drug it is there will always be a demand for it,more so if it's illeagal.
2)If an individual has the start up capital,the knowledge of how to grow safely and effeicently to reach a goal of a million $,chances are that he has a secure connection in regards to dispursing said drug.I highly doubt some one would front up a large amount of money on a whim.When it comes right down to it,it's a business,which requires a business plan just like legitamite businesses.Do you think Al Capone would have been in the liquor business had there not been an outlet or a market for his illeagal drug of that time period.Not likely,but there was, and he exploited it regardless of the illeagal nature,and I'm quite sure that he and a few others profited a few million if not more back in the day.I read a while back that mj was 7-8 billion $ a year bussiness,which may be inflated or not, but even so,I'm sure that a major portion of that money doesn't end up exclusivly at med clubs or police lockers,and when relating 7 billion to 1 million, over a course of 1-3 years and "x" amount of grows,it doesn't seem that out of touch for a diligent grower to amass that amount of money.
On a the topic of wheather to do one big grow or a few small ones,I would suggest that it depends on your start up capital.To be a full time grower is expensive,bills,rent,equipment,time,and a reasonable explanation as to why you don't work all would have to come into play.And you get bigger so do your bills,more water,more electricity,more nutes ect.

A million dollar grow is quite possible, just think of supply and demand elsewhere.
Where I live, a gram of weed costs 43$. Which means that an eighth goes for about 130$ I think (I'm assuming 1/oz=30~gr).
Now, let's say that you're growing a few plants, you're growing it pretty professionally, with plants that yield about a 100gr each. That makes each plant worth about 4300$. That's 43000$ for a kilo.
That sums up to about 230-240 plants being worth about 1.000.000 bucks.
Too bad I'm not a drug dealer.

the scottish Sunday Mail has a story today regarding one of these fook off grows, a think £750.000 £'s remember not $'s, the police according to the paper reckon millions of £'s worth of resin had already been produced. they reckon it was run by vietnames. yet its still as hard as fook to source bud.

Growing and selling alot of bud is going to always be tricky. You need to have lined up buyers, that dont know that you grow it...just think your a dealer...I mean it is hard shit and you need to know the right person even if you want to sell 10 pounds, that still a difficult task...are they trustworthy? i mean how do you know they wont put a bullet in yur head and take the weed and keep their money? very dangerous. not worth it ever in my opinion. just hear for the community and stockpile my own addiction :"=_ ehehe
