Militarized police forces today

Well I saw the cops suiting up yesterday with all kinds of cops and cop equipment going to screw up someone’s day. To many people came up here just to grow thousands of plants, use our precious water, and leave fucked up, pesticide ridden soil that seeps into our water table. I don’t wish that anyone would get busted but I sure wish these people would go away and take the cops with them...

bush was a POS too the program was accelerated under Obama. I read several local news stories about local PDs acquiring military grade weapons and vehicles in Obammys last 2 years.

It STARTED under Reagan, and was accelerated through FIVE “Republican” administrations: two Reagan, 3 Bush...but sure, blame *OBAMA*. And let’s not forget the lust with which small-town police and sheriffs hired *COMBAT VETS* after Gulf War 1 for ‘ordinary’ police duties.

And thanks for the “Obammy” t-shirt: racists definitely ought to announce their racism & stop hiding behind the pretense of being “nice” people. Geez, if y’all actually paid attention to anything but your brain-squirrels, y’all might be some use to the nation.

It didn't START under Reagan.
It started during the drawdown in the Viet Nam war.
Instead of let the weapons of war rust, they made money off the surplus through auctions and what didn't/couldn't be sold to 'civilians' were donationed to police forces that were deemed 'lacking' in equipment.

Truly sad to see so many still riding the "my team is better than your team" diatribes.
Knowing FULL WELL that BOTH teams are rotten to the core.
But, by all means...…..keep arguing until youre blue in the face over which "party" has less bloody, corrupt hands.
