Carraxe, you seem to be on another level man :D
Ever tried the grasshopper with a bong? In my opinion the best vaping experience, if the GH works of course ;)

Cheers

Hey, I hear ya there, I've gone back to pure combustion and just use the Volcano when I need to hide the smell, gave the Plenty to a deserving friend with lung issues.

Never tried the Mighty 'cause I gave up on portables years ago.

The Volcano and the Plenty both pump out thick clouds of vapor that deliver most of the goods, but still, something is missing.:tiphat:

No, I haven't tried, but now I'm doing a month without weed to recover some tolerance. You are right, I was smoking tons of weed, I was kind of black belt stoner . I got used to get several people very high with just one of my roaches, but now I believe that a pause will be very good. I am back to being hyperactive!

I'm back to joints as soon as sunny spring days full of music, nice people and flowers come back. By that time, I'll have several veeeery nice sativas properly cured :dance013:

Have a nice day

Ouffff.... was considering this again but reading this thread left me back to the starting point

I have had an Herborizer XL from long ago. superb quality and taste, but unless I do concentrates (which I'm trying to avoid or my already huge tolerance will grow even more) it fails really short for me.

I think I'm on similar situation to Carraxe, I stopped using it because it was a PITA to grind, load, stir, drag drag drag, stir... no way, a simple doobie cut it much better.

I only use to taste those herbs that really shine terpene-wise, or a new girl,.. but still... prefer much more smoking.

Let's say that my unit dose is 1.2-1.4gr.

I want something with no glass, and not huge if possible.

I want something where I can get to my "cruising altitude" with one, max two loads and provide good, plentiful, satisfactory hits.

The Plenty looked like it would fit the bill, no glass, simple, good sized oven... but... really? does it taste to burnt popcorn???

Just looked at the tubo evic and it's a mod???? I think I have like a dozen laying around... (I'm also a vaper). I've tried a couple adapters for weed, but were a POS, horrible taste.

Everyone seems to point back to Volcano as the one, but price is rather steep, I know I'll hate myself if I find it sitting getting no use. Find it also a little cumbersome with that bag et al.

Hello Repuk!

Since you already got some mods, check on the splinter.

I have a Herborizer ti which is great !It is a faster extractor than the XL,but i mostly use butane vapes like sticky brick /lotus/vapcap.

A tolerance break is definitely needed for me too,at least 3 days would be cool.

Thanks Syd!!! :huggg: you helped inmensely making my mind out. I didn't had a clue about the butane vape devices, and is the feedback from a hardcore stoner like you what was most meaningful to me.

Ordered a Sticky Brick Jr. I'm all for KISS.

Thanks for the Splinter tip! Not a fan of 510 devices, and you know, the "tool" shall be joyful to use.... the sticky brick has something that appealed and engaged me, like old tobacco pipes (and their ritual).

I have EE background and the Splinter, and Mighty don't appeal that much to me.

Ran across a review/usage by a true stoner (not a hipster toddler!) and I was sold.

Conceded, he could watch out for his nails! but I could sense passion and honesty on him and that's what counts.

I foresee a nice bound with the Jr, has an "organic feeling" that will make me for sure to baptize it.

And no electricity, batteries nor sh*t required, yay!

This is gonna be used at home, so the only con that I see on it, (crackhead looks) doesn't apply.

:thank you:

I've owned and used a bunch of vaporizers...
Xreme Q, Mighty, Pax... and find the Mighty is probably the benchmark in battery powered vaping.

Great taste, cool smoke, efficient, my choice for everyday evening vaping.
It does not heat up as quickly though, but once it's at temperature it stays warm longer, so might just be the heating element/chamber design and materials.
It's a bit too big though to use it out of the pocket in the city, that's where I use the Pax2.

In short it's my first choice to be vaping at home for good felxibility and no need for a power cord etc...
ISO alcohol makes cleaning super easy and the only parts I need to clean regularly are the top part that cools the smoke (with the foldout mouthpiece attached) as it catches a lot of gooey residue. But I guess that's good as I'm inhaling less of that? a small pot with a bit of warm ISO washes it clean almost instantly.

the plenty offers the most powerful high of any vaporizer on the market imo ............it does stand straight up ...just need to use the brush thats included, it perfectly slips into the hole at the base of the vape, acting as a stand ...............here is a great review that echos my experiences

I have an Arizer Solo, AirVape Xs and even the cheap APX. I've never really felt the need for a super expensive vape. These work fine.

I had a Volcano Digit with bags, and have upgraded to a Volcano Hybrid. I use the whip directly, no intermediate water, and no bags. This thing is industrial strength, med grade, and can put a gram (about a joint) of ground flower terps into your lungs in a single hit. The head rush 3 seconds later is damn near a passout experience, until it passes. My lungs are feeling great, and my SPO2 has increased to high 90's. I have been able to stop using an expensive cortico-steroid inhaler.

Yeah, I would say upgraded is the correct term. Right now I am waiting for S&B to make more, cause I am gonna get a new one and give this one away to a guy who feels he needs it to medicate. The display is half-failed (has warrantee, but the repair center is closed for wuflu), but otherwise this is a stout machine.

yeahhh price is always a consideration ......what makes the review i posted so powerful is that guy reviews vapes for a living .............he has every vaporizer on the market at his fingertips.he has tested and tried every vape on the market ........from the cheap to the most expensive ...........he could choose to use any vape he wants ............yet he chooses to use the plenty..... every day! ........and confirms that it is the vaporizer that offers the strongest high and is closest to combustion smoking ...............that holds a lot of weight for me
