Mighty Mite

I know Low Ryder auto flowers and so does mdanzig crosses of Power Stout and Master Low.
These are true auto flowering strains.

I have heard that Tanzanian Magic, Biddy Early, Stupor Sonic, Mighty Mite, Sweet Tooth and Magical Mystery Mix and others, have some auto flowering tendencies. I still would not say they are all true auto flowering.

Does “Mighty Mite” really auto flower?
Or does it just start to flower at a certain level of maturity, like maybe at a certain inner node?

I searched and searched for info on Mighty Mite but there is little info available. I cannot find any smoke reports.

I do know Mighty Mite is a Himalayan Indica that has been grown in BC for 15 years, and it has a dominant central cola.
Supposedly it is ready for harvest in the middle of August in BC.

I’m looking for some really early strains. I already have Low Ryder and several crosses of it.
I also have Dutch Treat and Manitoba Poison.

Fortunately I do not need early strains, it’s just that I like to spread out my outdoor harvest, with early strains and with others that take longer-kali mist, haze, etc..

I was thinking of trying Mighty Mite this spring.

Does anybody has any experience with Mighty Mite, or can point me in the right direction?

The one guy I know who grew it before said it starts to flower at the 5th - 7th node and finished the 15th of August.

I grew a mighty mite x peak 19/ak 47 cross and had a hard time keeping a mom because even at 24/0 light it would start flowering after a couple months.I don't know if it is a true auto flowerer but it sure had tendancies. Oh and even though it was a cross I'm pretty sure the auto flowering traits were from the mighty mite side of the family, lol.

Greens has a might mite that actually auto flowers. it finshes like mid august outdoors.

I remember Greens "Guriella Gold" The description was fantastic and the pics were awesome. It sounds like a very nice strain. Would love to try some.
He sold them on CW, which we know is no longer. Any other source?

Bram & rudestdude,
Thanks for the info. Mighty Mite does sound like a very early strain.
How was the yield and potency? I can't find any info?

The mighty mite x 19/47 was about an average yielder and potnency was about a 7.5.I don't run her anymore because I just don't have room with better stock available. It wasn't awful herb, it just wasn't as good as other strains

C ray,I hope dtox is doing ok, I'm a fan of his. I have like a half dozen of his strains going including a couple crosses he sent me including romberry haze that I really really like. I hope he along with other breeders that supplied HS and C bay are going to get through recent events unscathed. I think it's a shame that there is no outlet now for the Canadian breeders work although at this point maybe selling seeds is the last thing on their minds.

C-ray, if you are the C-ray from CW (or was it luci on cw?I forgets, lol) it is good to see you. I hope everything is going well for you, sounds strange from someone you don't know I know but I was worried about you, lol. You were always so helpful to so many people on different forums so when you split it was a loss on the forums. I hope things are well for you bro, it's nice to see you right back helping folks.

I didn't get a chance to try the Dutch Treat,T2U,the strains of his that I tried were the Mighty Mite x 19/47, Northernberry f2, Bubblegum f2, AK 47 x Bubbleberry, Romberry Haze and Michoacon x Buddhas Sister. I think that's all of them, lol, but there were more strains of his that I wanted to try.

Hey Phreedom, the mite that I smoked was pretty couchy stuff. I think it might have a high CBD/CBN ratio.

Quick Mist and Quick Mist Diesel both utilise Mighty Mite in their parentage, the MM Clone's been known to finish outside in 44 days....
That's what the 'Quick' in the titles suggests....
And no,this girl doesn't autoflower,it's just FAST!

Thanks for all the info on Mighty Mite. Sadly, there isn't much info available on this strain. One would think, that the more northern peeps would have grown it?
I could not even find a pic of it.

I still would like to find seeds of it. Fem seeds would be ok, just be more work preserving the original.

Hey Rez,
What are the finish dates on Quick Mist? That one sounds really good.
I love the Kali-Mist!

Maybe you might wanna try the Mighty Mite seeds from the The Mighty Mite Seed Co. I would think that might be a decent place to start

I've grown MM x M39 from MMSC, outdoors and it turned into a great little, single-cola, 36" tall plant. Finished mid-August.

I've grown Brenda's Skunk x MM x M39 indoors on a couple of occasions. Nothing phenomenal but also no dud and finished in about 50 days. Pics of this grow at CC in my gallery.

the mighty mite pure that I grew from mighty mite seed co. was pretty weak actually...I made some hybrids of it that were much better, so I would recommend going with a mm hybrid
dtox (hygro seeds) had a good pure mighty mite seedline but unfortunately he is mia

I love this plant

I love this plant

In the states in my area anything that smells good and looks all right is defiantly a cash crop. Thats why I started growing mighty mite 3 years ago.

But it turned out to be a really nice plant and a nice smoke with good flavor. Got a few really nice mommys now that all finish between Aug. 15-30 but I have made my own seeds and start many plants from seeds still to get some variation.

A good cross is pineberry male X Mighty Mite finishes September 1st and the taste really comes out after a couple months cure.

I got my beans from a good independent site I just checked it and its down so I dont know whats up with that. I ordered from them less then a month ago so I assume its only temporary. www.kootenayseeds.com
