boy, the Vols pulled one out today. they were down by 16 to Vandy at the half, but Ziegler caught fire in the second half & they remembered how to play defense...

Big Orange pulled one out of their ass today. trailed damn near the entire game, still down three with under a minute to play, and hit a three from near half-court to win as time elapsed. Barnes tried to call a timeout as Mashack brought it upcourt, glad the refs didn't see him...
wish i had watched Auburn and Kentucky today. Bruce has the War Eagles on a roll... from what i've read, NOBODY liked the officiating in that one.

Since it was such a beatdown, I didn't mind missing the last part of the game because of the "technical difficulties". Since I was born and raised in Kentucky, the SEC has always been my conference and when I moved to North Carolina, I got all ACC, all the time. The SEC is now as dominant as the ACC was back then .wish i had watched Auburn and Kentucky today. Bruce has the War Eagles on a roll... from what i've read, NOBODY liked the officiating in that one.
Since I was born and raised in Louisville, I have a schizoid reaction when Kentucky has to play Louisville.
Between the two of them, they have 11 national championships, which equals UCLA. Not bad for a scrawny ass Southern state. The way they've been playing, I don't see anybody beating Auburn right now, they look phenomenal.

and Florida strikes again! ANOTHER road win against a much higher ranked team this season. i don't think that ANYONE is wanting to match up with the gators the way they are playing now... Bruces gang didn't have it in that game, and Florida played lights-out D imho.

so the Vols and Gators get a rubber match game! i see UT as starting out ten points behind. thats how the scores totalled after the first two game. this oughta be some good hoops. it's starting to look like the SEC may put as many as 14 teams into the big dance this year! i figured Auburn to win it, myself. 
playing in Nashville is allegedly a neutral court, but it's a hell of a lot shorter drive for folks from Knoxville. this game may very well go to the team making the last shot. i just want a clean game with good officiating. nothing pisses me off more than refs deciding a game with their damn whistles...

Vols playing well enough on D to win, but couldn't throw an anchor overboard the way they are shooting. they've got within 5 a couple of times, but...it aint looking good.
