You've certainly made some strides grow-wise just in the time this thread's been in place. You have plenty of room on those tubs to fit at least 10-12 clones in each. Just read up on single cola pruning to get some nice 12-18" budsicles.

How long into flower did you stop using veg nutes? It might just be the lighting on the pics or the natural color of your fan leaves, but those leaves still look chock full or nitrogen for how far along into flower they are. Might wanna do a 2 week flush in the DWC to get rid of all the nutes.

AB: yeah, phosphoload (also sold under the name Superbud) was taken off the market cause it contains a PGR, a plant growth regulator called paclobutrazol. basically a plant hormone that stops veg in its tracks and immediately induces flowering.
it's used in fruit trees like mangoes so it is safe for human consumption. i believe the only reason they took it off the market is because it was mislabeled.

AS: I have like 8 holes drilled in each lid already, im just not using all of them. i like the idea of 10 clones each tub, pruning to get one big cola. u think that will work better with my perpetual sog idea?
i agree that tub #3 at least is overnuted. tubs 1 and 2 actually are a light green. tub 3 i had overnuted; i diluted it some weeks ago and ec is stable around .8, buds are getting fat, u think i should dilute it even more? tubs 1 and 2 are ec .8 and 1.0 and they're fine but of course they werent overnuted in the beginning...

RM: ive heard good things about snowdog and hazes in general. hows the smoke on those girls? or is it your first run with each? is the snowdog knockout and the haze paranoia-inducing?


Update on the Super Star: I germed them in a paper towel and 2/3 popped. i put all 3 in peat pellets and they barely sprouted out of the pellets and now they're real limp! i transplanted them to soil (i normally put germed seeds in soil) but i dont know if it's gonna help. ive heard of people sprouting seeds in peat pellets so thats why i tried it but now i think i lost seedlings because of this...
im gonna pop the last 2 super star, just sucks cause i think i wasted the first three.

Nah, your EC at 1.0 is just fine. I'm the type that thinks more is less when it comes to nutes. I never go above 650 ppm in hand-watered coco and the plants seem to respond well.

I'm all about the perpetual, but found it to be quite tricky in hydro, at least ebb and flow. With your setup, I'd run three tubs like you are. The first having veg nutes to bring the plants through the first 3-4 weeks of flower. The second with full flower nutes with the nitrogen cut out, and the last tub as a flush for the last few weeks of flowering.

The only problem is getting enough cuts ready to go to keep this running like clockwork. I've had a lot of success with perpetual while keeping a few mini moms rather than one big bush to clone off. The clones seem to have a much more uniform growth pattern this way and gives nice even canopy when they're done stretching.

but do you think that would work time wise also? im thinking the clones in the veg and flush nute tubs will only be in there 2 weeks, while the flower tub 4-6 weeks, so logistics wise the flower tub is going to be the limiting factor...

i check up on them every other day and the growth in the buds is noticeable. the flo tub at 50 days, the buds are continuing to swell. i checked the trichs and the heads are full and clear. hopefully another 10 days before i see 50% cloudly and then chop chop! there's two more tubs 2 weeks behind that so i may see 3 harvest this november. a lot to be thankful for, indeed...

Well, then just get one tub that is 2-3Xs bigger than the other two. Use the largest one as the flower tub and the two smaller ones as a preflower and flush tub respectively...

Just gotta sit down and do some planning to figure if you wanna harvest weekly or bimonthly to determine the number of clones and the sizes of tubs required.

im sorry booey but you need to do a little less posting about what your doing and a little bit more reading up on it. would you drink ph 4 water? urine has a ph of about 4-5, would you drink that?

according to this ph chart im looking at, at ph 4, EVERYTHING is locked out except for iron, with traces of Mg, B, and copper. none of those look like the N-P-K its supposed to be. hmm, at what ph are there the correct levels of N-P-K and trace elements?

obviously not 4, 6-6.5. if your gonna rep murda you cant half ass it by being lazy and not wanting to put in the work you need to for you girls to truly blossom. you might wanna change your sig to "attempted" M.U.R.D.A. not being a dick on purpose im just calling it how i see it from this vantage point.
