Oh my gosh, that bubble hash pic looks like heaven in tupperware. Do you smoke it by itself or on top of bud? I bet you could get a nice full melt clear dome shot of that, with a clean bowl and screen...

The all mesh bubble bags look great, seems like it would help drain the water a lot faster than before. That was the pain with the old bags that were only mesh on the bottom and canvas everywhere else, water would take forever to drain...

Whoa, this may be a stupid question, but when did you get LED lights?
How they working out for you? I suppose your room temps and maybe humidity are a lot easier to deal with now...

Actually i just got the led. Its the bigeye 8, same as dj xxx. This is the first run under it and im hopin it works like a 1k. Im only 6 days in so i dont kkow yet result wise...so far they seem like they like it. Tempwise its like it isnt even in the same room. No effect on my average temp that ive noticed...

Thats very nice. I remember my first grows I had terrible temp issues, if LED lights had been available back then it would have made a huge difference. How much did that set you back, about 3-400?

More like 518$$ . If it doesnt kick out like what i need, im hoping i can sell it otherwise itll collect dust if i have to switch to gavitas or phantoms... so far the gg4 is responding well to it. Tuesday puts them at 10 days in and they arent showing any signs that its not steong enough. I just wish the light threw a wider footprint at 2 ft above canopy...

$500 doesnt sound too bad for an LED light that's supposed to be, what, equivalent to a 1k HPS? I think a 1k setup will cost $150-250 for ballast and bulb, not including reflector. Plus the LED is supposed to last for years, isnt it? Just the savings in bulbs alone over the next few years should pay for the light.
But yeah, having a bigger footprint would help. Maybe if they spaced out the LED's more...

Day 12 gg4 led and 32 on the pp under 1k hps. Sofar idk if im liking the led. Seems like the plants are stretching a lil more than they would under hps, also node spacing is a little farther than id like.

Pp at 36. I also was looking online and found a cross similar but a different selection. Its cotton candy kush. It uses the exaxct same parents as mine but obviously not my selections...

The cotton candy kush is similar to which of your crosses? The gg or the pp?
Hows the LED working out, still not like it as much? Still causing the plants to stretch too much?

The pp. Cotton candy kush is a lavender and powerplant cross as well. I think after looking at a few other members running glue that the stretch is about normal. Im still up on the air on the led. If it dont pan out im going gavita 600/750. Also heres a shot of some gg4cuts at 17 days in the dome. A few more days and then go in veg.

So gavita makes plasma grow lights? Geez, ive been out of the game so long, im missing out on all the new technologies...

The gavitas im talkkn about are de hps bulbs. I saw some pics of the cotton candy kush that were purple. I know my selection sometimes purps up the longer i let it go.

Nice. So the LEPs (light emitting plasmas) seems like they have the advantages of more efficiency and less heat (like leds) but also provide full spectrum (UV to boot). But seems like they run about a grand or so, twice what you paid for the led and 4-5x as much as a regular HPS.

Still, maybe you can sell your LED and use that $ towards an LEP? Or that's just too much to invest right now, maybe wait a year or 3 when that tech matures and comes down in price?

It's like I'm growing vicariously through you, lol. But yknow, if it aint broke, why fix it? Youve been making killer buds for a year or more with tried and true technology...
